Dirty Dog was founded on the idea that the dog’s paw is made for dirt. Your dog thrives most in a consistent and positive social environment. That is why we take pride in providing small social groups with familiar friends both two and four legged alike. We offer a unique and safe off-road experience for your canine companion. Rain or shine, we will take your dog to do what your dog does best; run, jump, splash and play.
We also offer drop in visits for your other small pets. We will change their cage or litter box, give them water and food, and spend some quality time with them. Out of town for a while? We’ll also bring in your mail, turn lights on and off, and water your house plants.
We serve most Oakland neighborhoods and Piedmont.

Meet the Business Owner
Dorian Y.
Business Owner
I am a Yoga teacher, videographer, technophile, environmentalist and life long companion of canines. My passions are in the bits and bytes that we trade for conversation, entertainment and productivity and also, ironically, in the electronic desolation of the great outdoors.
My affection for animals sparked at a very young age. As soon as I could walk, I was romping around with dogs, cats, ferrets and reptiles. I spent much of his adolescence volunteering at the Oakland Zoo and working at a local pet store. Once I reached adulthood, I pursued his passion into the professional dog care industry by working several years at a local doggy daycare. He works with Volunteers for Outdoor California, repairing and maintaining many parks and trails throughout the greater Bay Area.
