Not sure what this place is going for, but it most certainly not sushi bar. Never before or since been given such nasty looks walking into an establishment.

Was in the area staying at the Hilton on a Saturday before the Raider game. It says sushi and sports bar on the outside… Definitely NOT … Had my family with me, we walked in and walked out… Very shady location, outside looks like a strip club … Inside was dark and definitely not inviting… Did not have anything to eat or drink because I didn’t feel safe with my family.

Note: This review is for their Latin dance nights on Fridays. I came here on 1÷16÷2015 for their grand opening Latin dance night. I believe this place is under new ownership and that this event is one of the ways they want to spice things up. Usually I’m always the first ones to an event but I thought since I was going alone, I’d take my sweet time. So I stopped by In-N-Out and grabbed myself a double double and fries. Pro-tip: Skip the onions since you’ll be dancing soon! I got there around 9 and I was the first one there, awkward, but I got to meet the host. I totally should’ve taken the free 1 on 1 dance lessons but I felt awkward. Anyways… So first of all, the event is $ 5, FIVEDOLLARS. That’s literally the cheapest salsa event in the bay area. Ladies are free before 10:30pm, guys, I’m sorry, but we have to pay all night :( Parking: Tons of street parking and I believe you can park in the lot next door. The venue: Very high ceilings, 2 rooms of dancing, HUGE bar, TVs, and LOTS of pool tables(in back room). The place doesn’t look like Club Milano in SJ(with the chandeliers/super new floors, but hey, they’re new to the salsa/club scene, so hopefully it gets better!) Dance lessons: Although I didn’t get to participate or spectate the lessons, since I was the only one there… I’ve seen these instructors before at other salsa clubs and ballrooms and both of them are great. The Dancing: The big room played salsa/timba and smaller room played bachata/kizomba. After 10, the place got super crazy, so many people, you wouldn’t believe it. The girl to guy ratio was probably 1.5:1, it was like heaven. OK, back to reality. GUYS, GIRLSARESTANDINGAROUND, GODANCEWITHTHEM. The music: Both rooms played awesome music, DJs are both well known in the bay area and not only that, they are more than happy to take requests. They play the old/legit and the new more popular songs. Although I don’t think I heard any Marc Anthony or La Vida Es Un Caranval that night. But I did ask the bachata room DJ for Darte Un Beso and he followed it up with Loco. Overall, if you like dancing or would love to learn, this is a great place. If you go to albertos or any other club, sure they might have a live band, but it’ll cost you $ 15 to get in. Last thing: Music volume, it was crazy loud that night, perhaps they’ve changed since their first night, but if not, I’d suggest earplugs.

So disappointed! The Bay Area Queens of Comedy show was supposed to start tonight at 8pm. At about 8:30pm someone came to the mic claiming they were having tech issues, but we Would get started in 5 minutes. It is now after 9pm and nothing… Oh, I just heard someone say we will stay in 10 more minutes. Really??? This was a complete waiste of time. I will never be back. Ever.

2.5 stars I really wish I wasn’t writing such a mean review about E One but there seems to be some structural issues they might have to sort out. The SO got off work extremely early and decided to come have lunch with me, stayed with me until 3PM, went to get a haircut(next in line!) and then got to E One entertainment for Happy Hour. Except for he thought it was Happy Hour(M-F: 4−7PM). We’re both pretty sure that he would’ve made it just as 4PM came around but the person ringing us up was sure that we didn’t but the POS system wasn’t used properly so nobody knew for sure what time he came in. When I met him there and he told me it was Happy Hour and I ordered a draft beer(the Stella does not taste fine, I would suggest just getting it from the bottle), he already had mozzarella sticks and a Long Island. Our total would have been $ 16 at most right? Bill came to $ 25. Idk, after some back and forth with the bartender, we gave her $ 20. We still don’t know what happened. Some things to note: we’ve been here twice and both times they said they didn’t have sushi, I would not bet on having sushi here. The place is really big. Almost eerie big because it’s dark and vast. The bartender is super nice and she was sweet in getting us our items. I think they just need to sort out some of the structural issues…

The rating –1, When it comes to getting your refund from them ITSUCKS… I have been trying to get my refund from them since March. All they want to do is give you the run around. I have reported E One to the Better Business Bureau, next step small claims court.

The facility has so much potential. I’m not sure why they’re not capitalizing on it. The billiards and snooker tables are pristine, but that room doesn’t have any music and some of the lights don’t work. There’s plenty of space, but never anyone inside. The jukebox in the bar area has a good selection, but the only thing to do is play pool in the dark, quiet back room. On nights when there’s a show, the back room is closed. I met some fun people there at the last event I attended, and the bartenders have been really friendly. I just wish there was something there every weekend.

I love this place, the people threat you like one of the family here. Great drinks for a fair price. Best meatloaf anywhere!!! Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are comedy nights. I’ve seen a ton of great acts there Nephew Tommy, Joe Torey, and many others.

Unbelievable… This place claims to be a sports bar, but«the guy who’s in charge of the TV’s» can’t even operate the remote. I told him several times I wanted to watch«Comcast Sports Net» he kept saying we have Direct TV, and every time I explained that it’s a station, not talking about comcast cable. After watching him struggle to flip through every single channel I instructed him to search«sports» but he just ignored me. I asked to see the remote and he ignored me. Then what I think was one of the owners chimes in, «hockey, we don’t have that» mind you that there are 4 TVs and I’m the only customer in the place! The guy«operating» the remote then tells the owner that all the basketball games are over, so then he kindly gives his blessings to put hockey on. When the remote«operator» finally takes my advice, guess what… He finds the channel with in seconds. Long review for such a small thing, but it was very off putting and I’m sure every thing else here is ran in a similar matter.

So… I went to see Nephew Tommy last Saturday for the 8pm show and had a FANTASTIC time. The venue itself is kinda dated, but I felt like it added character. I got there super early and was seated in the front. Got my food right a way and was too busy laughing to trip off anything else. Staff was a bit disorganized with ppl that bought their tickets online BUT I was ready and whipped out my confirmation right on my phone!!! And the server I got was really nice* I even got free tickets for this Saturday!!! Looking forward to doing it again!!! Much easier then going to the punchline, the Cobb, and that one in Dublin.

Horrible service — horrible staff and security –Unorganized — Horrible experience! Went to see a comedy show which started late which wasn’t the problem. The problem is the staff let the waiting patrons into a lounge area while we waited. sounds fine… until we were asked to go back outside or we were not going to be let into the actual venue to see the show. We were ushered in like cattle and tickets were not scanned or even checked. I personally know someone who saw the show for free. The security was rude with the exception of Sears(yes, that’s his name). There was no menu. Water with no straw. It took two people and three questions just to get a coke. I won’t be going back.

AWFUL! HORRIBLE! DISAPPOINTING! TACKY! CLASSLESS! This about sums up the décor(GHETTO), food(MICROWAVABLE and after an hour wait, arrived COLD) and drinks(NO drink menu, my first glass of wine had white particles floating in it) at this establishment! ULTIMATEDISGUST… I asked the waitress what flavor red wines do they offer and she said MUR-LOT…WTH is MUR-LOT…I politely corrected her and said you mean MERLOT. LAWD. Jesus take the wheel! The comedy was great though! You can take the girl out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of the girl. Jackie called it and by golly she was right! SMH!!!

I’m really disappointed with everything about this place. Came here to see Nephew Tommy and it is a hot fool ass mess. Did itreally take almost an hour for finger food? Then the waitress has a stank attitude. Sweetie, u served me cold food. get yo life. I wasn’t suprised this establishment was owned by african americans. I would never ever come back to this ratchet ass place.

FULLDISCLOSURE: I have NEVER eaten here E1 is actually a really nice venue with a HUGE pool hall and long bar… I come here to SUPPORTLIVEBAYAREACOMEDY and have always had a nice evening. Wed nights vary but include open mic, bay area comic showcases and Comedy Competitions(which have the best turn-out) and are always fun even though the turn-out(Because of the HORRIBLE reviews?) is often sparse. Wknds usually boast a comedian with SOME level of fame. There is a two drink/one food item min for most shows. Waitresses are beautiful(in case you’re wondering) and pleasant but often slow but not to the point of frustration. I’ve never asked why the back parking lot is closed but I suspect that this is an ongoing problem but there is a small lot in front and usually plenty of street parking. Management is very friendly as is just about everybody I have met here… This has become my(Near) weekly Stomping Grounds and EVERYONE that I have invited to join me has had a great time! Friends have complimented the food but as a vegetarian I can’t say that anything on the menu has screamed for me to try. I’ll be back =)

I was a bit harsh of the initial review of this establishment. They have worked out their kinks and run a lot smoother. This location has a large number of snooker tables, more than i have seen in any other east bay location. Great place to watch the local games

I can count on one hand the number of months this establishment will remain open. Who operates this place!!! It’s utterly HORRIBLE… Long story short, went here during the Raider/KC game for the 95.7 The Game advertised«breakfast BUFFET.» We buy two tickets at $ 10 apiece. Head to this pitiful breakfast spread and hand both tickets to the server. Now call it intuition, call it my street sense kicking in, but I had a strange feeling about this entire setup. So just for kicks I asked, «This is buffet right?» The surly and disinterested server responded with a «No, it’s one plate only.» Mutherfucker pleeease… I KNEWIT. I ATTEMPTED to question management face to face but of course they didn’t bother to come out of the kitchen, instead sending a server/messenger back and forth to relay messages. OFCOURSE they blamed 95.7 for the misinformation included in their mass email. Oh did I mention that the advertisement also stated that the breakfast was $ 9.57? I suppose 95.7 just came up with that one themselves eh E One? TYPICALGHETTO-ASS operated establishment… Counting the days until you all close permanently.

This is my second time at Eone to watch the Raiders game. When I arrived at 9:30, their very small parking lot was full. Someone was using the handicapped stall and someone else had parked in the cross hatches. Three parking places were blocked off. Considering that they only have about 6 places total, this was not cool, especially given the neighborhood. Today they are offering a buffet — eggs, rice, potatoes, and some sort of meat for $ 9.50 it’s a good deal, but extremely unhealthy. The other thing I notice is the place is cavernous and always seems to be very, very dark. Despite everything, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Great space. Big. Open. Plenty of TV’s. Pool tables. Everything you could ask for in a sports bar, right? Not! This place sucks! We sat for 20 minutes before we were able to chase down the server and another hour before we got our food! We ordered wings and a burger. Huh?! The wings were tasty but room temp and the burger patty was child size and poor quality. This space could make for a really good place… under better management and with more help. I must add that Doc was very apologetic but reality is we should’ve walked out earlier. Would I come back? Huh?

Straight to the point… Pros: The establishment is nice, the workers were pleasant, nice crowd during Raider games. The CONS: Service is VERY BAD-slow to take and deliver orders, I’ve been twice and have yet to receive food that is hotter than room temp. The pizza is not good at all, not sure what the deal was with the burgers yesterday, but I saw several uneaten burgers left on tables. The drinks are watered down and over priced! There is nothing wrong charging $ 10 for a shot of Kettle One or for a margarita, but make sure there is enough alcohol in it to justify that $ 10 price. Parking sucks big time… I keep seeing pics of sushi, and I was looking forward to getting some myself this time, but I was told that area(next door) was not opened. There will have to be some special event taking place, to get me back there. I wish them luck!
