Im giving 1 star because there is parking and shade and because the tacos de tripe are good. Ate 2 tacos de carnitas which were terrible. It wasn’t even carnitas it was just meat chopped up and grilled. Ate 1 taco de buche and it was real hard to bite into. Buche has to be tender and with flavor. Total opposite at this place. The taco of trice was great.

Love this place! I’m very picky when it comes to meat, and I like how they meat in the burritos dont have a bunch of fatty pieces in it. This is my favorite taco truck every!

Nasty! I think there was change of ownership that its not the same as it used to be. My husband ordered a Torta Hawaiana. This torta includes a piece of breaded fried steak, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, onion, pineapple pieces, of course a bread roll toasted. Let me tell you, we got nothing close to steak. This peace looked paled white with a rawness look. Non chewable. Then… We wanted one of their fresh sweet fruit waters. They didn’t have any. We asked for radishes… None as well… Can’t eat tacos without that. Sorry truck… step up…

El Ojo de Aqua is in an enclosed parking lot not easily visible from the street. menu: usual torta, burritto, taco, etc., pricing slightly higher than other trucks. eats: taco(lenqua, grilled chicken, al pastor) 1.5 –generous portions on soft flour tortillas, –cucumber and lime slices too. –above average qualtiy, not the best though take outs: –pricing slightly higher than other food trucks, food quality better? –El Ojo is a fav of chowhounds –some parking spaces in parking lot. –food much fresher than years ago when i tried them.

My boyfriend picked me up from work last week and was starving so he wanted to come here. I have never been before, I don’t normally go into Oakland. He had been here a bunch of times with friends and said I should try the super burrito, so I asked for a asada super burrito without hot sauce since I do not do spicy. After waiting probably 10 minutes we heard our number and he went up to the window to grab our order. He handed me a bag on the way to the car, the burritos were the length of my arm! No joke! I asked him where mine was and he pointed to one of the very large burritos in the bag. I was in shock, I’m used to the super burritos from Taqueria Guadalajara where they are the size of my forearm and girthy. The flavors were great together, lots of Mexican rice, guac and sour cream, the meat was tasty but not super flavorful. I barely finished a quarter of the burrito before I wrapped it in tin foil and put it in the frig. You have to hold the darn thing like a child to even eat it! I cut about 6″ of it for lunch the next day and still have over half left, I didn’t know if I was going to even finish it that week. Thankfully my boyfriend has a big appetite and he finished the rest for me later in the day, on our way to Tahoe. Maybe next time we could share it instead, but for $ 7/$ 8 per super burrito it’s not a bad value and you get lots of bang for your buck.

My favorite taco truck in the whole wide world. Yes, the whole world! Giant tortillas filled with perfectly cooked meat, beans, rice, guacamole, and salsa. It has the right amount of grease, the right amount of heat(from the salsa), and seems to have all of the proportions perfected. The Super Burrito. Epic.

Forget the dictionary if your looking up Torta, because this spot defines a true authentic torta from Mexico. These tortas are the real thing, as good as it will get outside of Mexico. OMFG seriously these Tortas are incredible. Classic torta truck but of course they serve tacos, burritos, mariscos, and other delish plates!!! The tortas all have funny entertaining names, and are all in Spanish but they have what the torta consist of under the name so no worries if your rusty on the Spanish. My Grub: Torta«Bezo de Novia»(Kiss from a girlfriend) Huge definitely fatty certified! Panela Queso(Mexican Cheese) super fresh slice Milanesa(Breaded Sirloin) just breaded to perfection not rubbery at all Pierna(Pork leg meat) tender, and juicy Hamon(Ham) Thinly sliced and perfectly placed on the lettuce. Tomatoes slices with plenty of juice Re fried Beans warm and tasty fresh avocado slices slices of jalapenos in vinegar MYGIRLSGRUB: Torta Hawaiana Panela Queso Hamon(ham) Pineapple Jalapenos in vinegar Refried beans that I have to say again are so yummy Lettuce Just by watching her devour it I know she was in love. While I go to work I bet she sneaks away to the torta version of disneyland!!! THEBESTTORTA I HAVEEVERHAD!!! ITISWHATITIS
