Fly N Save Airport Parking

I like how they took my previous post down.
When I tried to pick up my car they wanted me to pay with credit card when I wanted to pay with cash. The cashier didn’t want to accept my cash and said they only take card. VERY SUSPICIOUS RED FLAG FOR IDENTITY THEFT finally after telling him I have no credit card he said you should get one and took my cash.

DO NOT PARK HERE!!! We got back in town 11÷27÷15 At 8:55 Am. Even after calling after 6 times it took them about 45 mins to come pick us up after 45 mins. We left family early so that i could be back to work early. Who knew being picked up after mins was just the beginning. We came to the lot, and the cars were double parked all over the place and they only had two or three people working there. And that why the shuttle was late. after helping the lot ladies i finally got my car at least another hour later. I was late to work because of their carelessness. Very rude lady at the checkout who over charged me. i was supposed to be paying 30.11. they charged me $ 47.66. i want my money back and also a refund for the hassle I had go through. While the ladies were moving the cars around I saw then hitting cars all around. I am never using them again in my life again even if the pay me $ 50 a day to park there. Really disappointed at would like money back. Please respond. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN 15 YEARS. If you are a owner of a Gray Hyundai that was damaged contact me i saw them hitting your car.

It saddens me to have to write this. I have used Quick Park and then Fly and Save for 15+ years, but no more. They’re using only one shuttle on Thanksgiving weekend.
We called as we walked out of the terminal and were told 5 minutes. As we walked to the parking shuttle island, the Fly and Save shuttle was just leaving. We have now waited over 15 minutes, no sign of shuttle yet.
Apparently the staff today is only 2 people. I don’t know if the problem is that the owner is trying to save on labor costs, or if employees are mistreated and staff can’t be retained. But we we will now move our business to another lot.

If I can rate 0 stars, I would. RIDICULOUS! First, the wait for pickup from the airport was long and it was freezing outside. Second, the van could not drop us off inside the lot because the lot was packed with double parked cars. So we had to walk almost to the end of the lot with 6 baggage to tow, plus two young children. Then pulling out of the parking spot was quite a challenge because of the double parked cars, leaving very little room to maneuver our car. It took us about 20 minutes to drive out of the lot. It is a big risk parking here because it’s packed and unorganized. Don’t park your cars here, especially during the holidays. Pay the extra money elsewhere.

I’ve parked my car here at least 10 times before without any «noticeable» problems in the past. But Just recently, we parked our Tahoe SUV with a ¾ to almost full tank of gas here. (I made a mental note of that before turning off the engine.) 10 days later we returned to retrieve our car. After starting the engine and slowly reversing, our truck seemed to make a «cough» sound. Of course we brush it off thinking hey, our trucks been sitting for 10 days, maybe it’s just getting used to be driven again. Well, we were WRONG.
Already on the freeway, my husband looks over and says «Didn’t we have a full tank of gas when we parked there?» I looked down at the fuel gage and OUR TRUCK WAS NEARLY EMPTY. THEY SIPHONED OUR GAS TANK!!! Gas is NOT cheap, especially when having to fill up a full size SUV. So I was absolutely FURIOUS & DISGUSTED but unwilling to turn around and drive all the way back. Knowing that the person working the window would just look at me crazy & accuse me of lying. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO PARK FOLKS. I will never be giving this thieving «parking lot» my business EVER again. You’ve been warned!!!

I parked with Fly and Save for 20 days a month for a year and a half. (360 days total) That makes me a good customer, right? Last time I parked there the hood of my car was destroyed. Someone jumped off a wall onto the hood and even left their footprints on the paint. The hood was totaled. I called the manager 5X over the course of the last month. Only one time did I get a response. She’s supposed to be getting back to me, but that was 2 weeks ago. I guess she’s still «looking into it» and I’ll bet she responds to this review like she’s without fault, but the fact remains – My car’s hood was totaled and they lost a good customer through their terrible customer service. If you park there, you take serious chances for your own safety and who knows what’s going to happen to your car?

Do not park here! They will steal your money and run through your car! I had items stolen from my car when it was parked in their parking lot and the customer service is horrible. They even overcharged me online and the customer service rep. was rude and did not help me at all. Thhis is a scam and it is so ghetto ! Do not park here ever unless you want your car broken into and over charged!

I have been using Fly n Save for many years and mostly fly during holiday times. For the most part I have always had a very good experience. On a few occasions I too have had to wait 15 minutes. When I inquired about this I found out the driver on this shift didn’t show up and this driver was now working alone when it would have been two vans. I like that I can make a reservation as well. One time I came in and they wanted to do valet without an extra charge do to over flow yet I did not want to and they accommodated me.
I know it looks like other services have multiple vans coming in every few minutes. I’m not sure about all of them yet a number of them have different lots like Espresso so even though it looks like vans are coming every few minutes for that parking service it’s not.

Found a deal on line and parked. Big yard to park, I didn’t see covered parking, but that is fine. Shuttle goes back and forth often. The girls upfront are nice and friendly.

I’ve been parking here every week for about a year and I think I’m finally done with this place. The price is fair and the customer service has been fine but the lack of shuttles is a big inconvenience. I constantly find myself waiting curbside for at least 15 – 20 mins while all of the other parking goes by. I’ll be on the hunt for new parking service.

One star because they had a van to pick us up, the person answering the phone and overall customer service is bad. Other bus companies had three or four vans drive by while this one kept saying he’s on his way… Go somewhere else, highly recommend to do so.

I’m a long-​time patron of the San Jose Park, Fly-​n-​Save. Decided to use the Oakland site for a recent trip.
At least 48 hrs prior to the trip, I had to cancel due to a change in schedule. Contacted PFNS for a refund, and got an automated email. After 4 – 5 follow-​ups and almost 3 weeks after the supposed check-​out date, I finally got credited the refund, minus 10%. When contacted, Mgt replied that they reserved the right to charge 10%. This NEVER happened with the SJ lot over my 4+yrs parking there.
Way to treat your loyal patron!
I asked for a courtesy waive of the fee, and to date, the request must have gone through a black hole because there is still no reply. Don’t bother parking here. Try Park-​n-​Save even if it costs a bit more but customer service there is top notch.

I booked this blindly the day before my departure. Then I checked Unilocal (after I paid) and saw 2.5 star rating. I thought I was doomed but I decided to give it a shot primarily because I didn’t have any other referrals and secondly, the price was right. When I arrived I was greeted at the gate and provided my receipt. The attendant was clear with direction and the van arrived moments after I arrived to pick me up. It was a Friday late morning and I was the only psgr on the van. I was transported to OAK in a matter of minutes. Driver was nice, offering clear instruction of my parking space number and advised me how to call for van upon my return. On my return, I called from the baggage area at 11:20am and was picked up within 6 minutes. Driver was efficient and took each of the psgrs to our vehicles. It was a breeze. Maybe I got lucky or maybe service is enhanced. I would park here again.

Nice people. Friendly drivers. But we were charge $ 37 when online it said we would be charged $ 21. Great parking experience, just don’t expect a low price.

This place is the worst! It took an hour to get out of the lot because they had valet parked our car in three cars deep. When the van dropped us off there was a couple who had been waiting for 20 minutes in the same situation in the car next to ours. They had very few people working, had not put tags on cars so they didn’t know what keys to grab. It took a few attempts of them going back and forth to the office to find the right keys for the cars. They were not even apologetic! I will pay more next time so I don’t have to deal with that clown show!

The manager here is a B**** for lack of abetter word.
I stayed at the Red Lion hotel and was told to park here because their lot was full. I paid $$ at the Red Lion for a parking pass.
When I got to the Parking lot I asked the guy if he would honor my Red Lion and if I would have to pay, he said no You dont have to pay. I asked him THREE times, because if I had to pay I would go elsewhere, since I already paid.
The next day I go back to my car and they ask me for $ 15!
I was upset so they called the manager, i explained to the manager that I asked the guy the night before If I would have to pay and he said no. She said, «we havent work with Red Lion for months, he wouldnt know because hes new»…
Ok… how the F am I supposed to know that? Train him! If he didn’t know he should have CALLED his manager, f**king train your employee!
This was THEIR Fault, they should have credited ME since they were the ones giving ME the wrong information.
This place knows NOTHING about customer service, even threatened to call the police because I was upset!
Don’t park here unless you DONT want to save money. $ 15 for 10hrs overnight is too much $$ anyway. BULLSHIT.

Cheaper than long term parking at OAK, but not worth the hassles.
Poor use of technology and poor customer service. You operate a parking lot and shuttle service, it’s not rocket science, get it right. The website charged us twice and getting a refund was a SERIOUS pain, then ended up having to pay as we left also? What was the website for? We won’t be using them again.

In no particular order, here’s what I require of a long-​term, airport accessible parking lot:
* Price in line with other competitors
* Easy to find.
* My car is safe.
* I’m safe.
* I’m dropped off at the airport shortly after parking.
* I’m picked up from the airport shortly after phoning to let them know that I have my bags.
We were good right up until that last one.
CALL #1: I got hung up on.
CALL #2: I’m told that the van will be there in 5 — 10 minutes.
20 minutes later every parking van has come and gone, some more than once. I was the first person waiting for a van and I’m now the only person remaining.
CALL #3: I’m told that the van will be there in 5 — 10 minutes (and had a bit of a hissy fit right there on the platform).
10 minutes later a van labeled «Fly N Save» pulls up and the driver opens the doors.
Driver: «How you doing tonight?»
Me: «I’d be doing better if the ‘Park Fly N Save’ van appeared».
Driver: «This is the ‘Park Fly N Save’ van».
This is also Oakland and now I’m getting into a van labeled «Fly N Save» with a car parked at a place called «Park Fly N Save».
Me (suddenly a little fearful that I’ve just gotten into a rogue airport van): «You’re taking me to „Park Fly N Save“, right? Why’s the van say something different?»
Driver: «The owners changed the name of the place and are too cheap to change the signage on the van. I hear about 10 complaints each month and they still don’t change it.»
You know what? If you’re a business who can’t be bothered to match the company name with the name on the van and you’re a business who can’t be bothered to send a van out for quick pick-​up, then you’re also a business I can’t be bothered with.
Prices were reasonable (except for an odd and completely random «$ 5 surcharge») but any minor savings weren’t worth the hassle of arriving home a half hour later than I would’ve had I used «Park ‘N Fly». Their clearly marked vans came by several times while I waited, and their on-​line booking prices start at $ 8.95/day. Guess where I’ll be parking next time?

I parked here last minute when my flight was re-​routed from SFO to OAK after the plane crash at SFO.
Positives:
— last minute parking available
— easy to find/​close to airport
— on-​demand shuttle service (get there and driver, if available, picks you up at your car)
Not so positives:
— $ 5 added charge on top of daily fee, no description what this is for
— $ 5.95 advertised rate online, but unable to book via the ad on a mobile device so had to pay full price
— Called when landed, went immediately to spot indicated, ended up waiting 15 min (told driver would be there in a min or two), then call again, was told driver had already come by so had to wait another 10 min for him to get back. 25 minutes out in the cold at 11pm at night waiting for the driver did not exactly make me want to come back here again
