Happy Boy Farms consistently has the best looking organic produce. They must really know how to take care of their veg!

I shop at Happy Boy farms several times a month. They have a consistent selection of squash, greens, and herbs. My only issue is with one of their cashiers who I typically get. The Person is typically very inattentive to the customers and today they crumpled up my(change) money and threw it at me because after a few minutes of not trying to touch it with the palm of their hands, and my bills being blown away by the wind. I even offered to help to speed up the process. That was not cool at all.

What delicious veggies! Always in season, fresh and flavorful. I shop here every week, its just the pinnacle of deliciousness :) I think my favorites are the kale and the edible flower salad. So good. Love!

I never will buy produce again because of the customer service. This is specifically about one person in particular who works at the Bartlett Farmer’s market stand who is the cashier. They(not sure if the person identifies as male, female or otherwise) are extremely unfriendly consistently. At first I thought they were just in a bad mood that day. But I tried going back a few times, and same sour and rude attitude. It’s CUSTOMERSERVICE, at least be civil. RUDE.

I came to the Noe Valley Farmers Market with Chef Leah and a group of future chefs from Y.U.M. Chefs . We came to the farmers market as part of a monthly cooking class that meets at the farmers market and encourages children to cook using local, organic foods. Jess was awesome and took some time to give our group of young cookers a tour of the Happy Boy Farms booth and explained what is in season and how the different veggies are grown. She even let the group sample some of the produce. Jess was very accommodating and enthusiastic which helped make this a great class! A special thank you to Ashley and Preesh as well who held down the fort while Jess talked with our group.

Damn, I’ve been shopping at Happy Boy for yeeeears now. These guys rule — cute hipstery looking farm ladies and dudes who sell hella good veggies. Still love the bagged salads. They are such good value. I missed the farmers market recently, and the same amount of organic salad greens at Piedmont Grocery woulda been about $ 15(!!!). $ 5 gets me a big ol’ bag of salad with enough left over to give to my coworker’s rabbit at the end of the week.

This is the season of shisito peppers, amazing melons, crazy tomatoes, and herbs. I always get everything I can first at Happy Boy Farms and then head to the other stalls at the farmers market; they have lots of greens in bulk so you can get just the right amount. I also love that they have simple recipe ideas posted, as well as advice as to how to pick the best items; the melon I got on Sunday was perfect!

Like other Unilocaler said. I run straight to the Happy Boy stand at the Farmer’s market. Nothing compares to their heirloom tomatoes and squash. I also love their radishes and the fresh basil I bought this morning is so fragrant that its wafting through the kitchen into my living room. In fact their tomatoes are soooo flavorful that I didn’t even know how great a tomato could taste until I tried theirs. Plus the staff is super friendly and cool.

ODETOHAPPYBOY, by Lauren Stower Oh, Happy Boy — how happy you make me! I’ve been shopping with you since 2003! With your sweet carrots and fresh greens, the spiciest of arugula, and the niceest of employees. Your melons are devine, past my wildest dreams… I can’t get enough — you are truly the BEE’S KNEES!

I used to live on the farm and work for them years ago. Best fruits and veggies available. So fresh!!! YUM! I miss them, since I don’t spend much time at farmer’s markets these days. Oh… I want my Happy Boy!

I am hooked on their bagged mixed salad greens with beautiful edible flowers in them. All the veggies at their booth is sooooo beautiful. I’ve been to their booth at the Saturday Berkley FM and Grand Lake FM in Oakland. The booth in Oakland is a bit bigger. Thank you Happy Boy Farms for all the tasty real food that you provide!

Dear Happy Boy Farms, Thank you for caring and making me eat my organic veggies and spinach every week. What would I do without you and my daily dose of calcium, antioxidants, and vitamins A through Z? You make me happy. See you on Saturday. Fondly yours, Anastasia B.
