LORI LORI LORI LORI LORI LORI! If you are looking for a skilled loctician in the bay area, please see Lori. She squeezed my mom in last minute and worked a miracle. So… long story short. My mom got her hair locked in LA at a salon that shall be nameless right before our San Fran trip. It looked HORRIBLE. She didn’t even want to leave the hotel :(She then took them out herself. A friend recommended Lori and we are so glad he did. We called her and she squeezed my mom in and was very knowledgable, understanding and was just amazing. My mom left feeling so happy and confident and her hair looks amazing. She woke up the next morning and took pics because she was so happy. I wish Lori was closer to LA! I would go to her.

I brought my 6yo daughter, who has locs, to Headtrips. She cries at home when she gets her hair washed and twisted, and she has quite a bit of hair. This time I decided to take her to a professional. Scheduling for the appointment was easy. Furthermore, there was no scheduling conflict where one client is under the dryer waiting longer than necessary because the stylist was doing two heads at a time. It was a very professional experience. Ms. Lori was great! My daughter did not cry and walked away from the salon with a well moisturized and styled head of locs. THANK YOU MS. LORI!

I visited Head Trips and I am sooooooo happy with the results. I came in for loc maintenance and when I left I was worshiping at the altar of Akiya!!! Akiya is a true professional and you can tell she has passion for her chosen profession. We talked about what I wanted to achieve from my visit and she used her skills and creativity and made it happen!!! My locs are beautiful, light, airy, with just the right amount of sheen. Akiya gave me style that is super great. I am happy I met her and can hardly wait to see what style we’re going to try next.

I’ve been seeing Lori at Headtrips since the doors opened and had been with her even before then. Because she’s always taken good care of my locks, I’ll always be a loyal customer of hers. She’s the lady of Locks! I’ve seen no one better in the bay. I always get questions and compliments on my hair thanks to her. I make it a point to tell anyone who wants their Locks or otherwise treated very well, to make the TRIP!!!
