Jonathanchef was established to cater to special small gatherings. Attention to detail is what we strive for, from small cocktail parties to larger corporate luncheons.

Business Owner
After careers as an Army military intelligence specialist, and an Arabic language librarian at Stanford University, I decided to turn towards cooking, an activity that I’ve always thought about turning into a vocation. While at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California, and working at One Market Restaurant, as well as Bistro Liaison in Berkeley, I went to work at Carrie Dove Catering in Emeryville. While there, I worked my way up from prep cook to Head Event Chef. One special event was a $ 25,000 wedding in Napa, where I supervised five other chefs for a family-style dinner service after the ceremony. I then decided to start my own business, and Jonathanchef was born. It’s been quite an adventure so far, and I have big plans and dreams for the future!
