I wanted an alternative to Platano Café on International because they close pretty early. I was excited to try Los Olivos but the food was not nearly as good. The pupusas tasted a bit leaden and the platanos were just shy of burned. The atmosphere isn’t what you go for. All said I think I’ll just make a point of hitting Platano Café earlier for my pupusa fix.

On behalf of Xicana Moratorium Coalition we want to appreciate Los Olivos for their donation to support the 36th Annual Xicana Moratorium Day, where we will be bringing attention to the Third World Liberation – One Land One People, taking place August 30th, 2015 from 12−5pm at San Antonio Park in Oakland. Their donation made possible this annual free event for people of color in the Bay Area.

Burrito was pretty good we’ll balance of beans, meat and rice. I give the burrito a strong B average. Good sauce, just missing something extra, not sure what it is. But it’s way better then anything you’ll get at chipotle or at the taco truck next to the laundromat.

Los Olivos didn’t have any chicken for their pupusas. not hating them for that. eatery still in fix-​it stage. ambience kind of ran down/​being fixed up.

–zuchinnis doesn’t come thru, probably melted.

Not really a spot for dining in, but I’ve grabbed take out from them a couple times.
The pupusas are quite good, but the curtido is really lacking.

This is the place to get yummy pupusas! The pupusas are super delicious. I am very picky she it comes to eating pupusas but this restaurant knows how to cook up good pupusas! I minused a star because their curtido needs more taste.

Great, cheap, authentic salvadoran food. 2 $ pupusas that tasted perfect. The horchata tasted pre-​mixed, but was still good. This place should be listed with one $ instead of two $$.
