Great service! They were right on time and the driver was super friendly with lots of advice about the neighborhood I just moved to.

By far the best experience I had in a taxi cab on time got me to my destination when I needed to very smooth ride very nice gentleman I highly recommend this taxicab company I’ve used it several times and never once have I been disappointed

Wow. Finally a cab company in W. Oakland that I can DEPEND on – any time of day or night! They happily serve my neighborhood — instead of begrudgingly like some companies. It is such a relief to know when you call for a cab, they WILL arrive on time. Now, I never have to worry they may flake out. Their cars are new & clean and I like that they use Prius’ too. The drivers have also been SO polite to me & my guests. I highly recommend Lucky 1 Cab service.

When I needed a ride quickly to get to an appointment, Abraham was there in less than 10 minutes. His driving didn’t leave me car sick (a common occurance) and he got me where I needed to be on time. Great drivers, great company!

By far the best taxi can I’ve ever taken. I called last minute because my ride to airport canceled and they arrived within 10 minutes. The guy was friendly, professional and extremely nice to me. I would definitely recommend them.

Worst customer service EVER.
Incident#1: I call an hour early bc I live in the Oakland Hills & cabs are not used to driving up here. A guy dispatcher takes my info says «20 mins.» 40 mins later I call Lucky to inquire about the cab & the dispatcher says he couldnt find my adress in his GPS so, no cab is on its way. No call back to get clarification on the address, no call to let me know a cab will not be outside my house in «20 mins.» Almost washed my hands of them completely but dispatcher offers me a discount on my ride, promises he found the address on GPS, says «15 mins». 20 mins later still no cab. I called another company. Got to work late, got chewed out by my boss & lost a promotion. Thanks Lucky1 Cab!
Incident #2: After incident #1 I called Lucky to complain. A woman dispatcher was very professional & applogetic. She offered me a complementary cab ride in the future. Nice. Ok… everyone has bad days, maybe it was that other guy’s 1^st day, I won’t hold a grudge.
THEN, When I call for the complementary ride a few weeks later, lady dispatcher answers. I ask for supervisor bc of the free ride situation, the woman was very rude. Askes me why I need a supervisor. Wont give me her name. The call gets «disconnected» so I call back, no answer. I call back 5 times, leave messeges. Nothing. I call another cab company. again.
Today, the same woman answer the phone, I tell her all of the above & she says that I didnt get a return call bc I was harrassing them! LMaO! Yells at me, tells me she is going to call the police if I call again, hangs up on me. Twice.
Kay, Palima, lady whose voice is on the answering machine, whatever your real name is… shame on you!

By far my favorite taxi company in the east bay! Not to mention, the nicest people!!!

Being a 16 year old girl in the middle of Oakland, a city that’s completely foreign to me, I was SO GLAD when a woman, Kat from Lucky 1 Cabs, picked up. She gave such wonderful service and really seemed like she cared. Being not only foreign to Oakland, but also a girl, this was really comforting. I was looking for a cab service in Oakland, and after calling three different cab services, I was so glad to stumble upon Lucky 1 Cabs. They actually picked up and gave me 5 star service when they arrived to my destination EARLY. If you’re in Oakland and need a cab service, Lucky 1 Cabs is DEFINITELY the way to go! I have had nothing but great experiences with Lucky 1 cab. They are always prompt and professional! When I call for a cab, they immediately dispatch one. The cabs are always clean and the drivers have gps so they always know the best, most direct route. This is by far the best cab company I have used in the Bay area.
