I’ve never been into the over-priced smoothie hype, but this place will make a believer out of anyone! I go every Sunday morning for a Maca Mama to keep my energy up while I work at Gymboree next door. You can’t go wrong with anything you order there and the service is truly the best. The lines out the door can’t be wrong…

Stopped by my favorite juice bar again. I love the fact that they use fresh fruits and veggies every time instead of frozen like other places do. Love that they cater to my exact taste by increasing one fruit/veggie over another. I also picked up an acai bowl which again was delicious and very generous in size.

Main Squeeze is my first stop on the days I am out the door with an empty stomach, but a well fed, clean and dry baby. The ingredients are fresh and similar to the quality we keep at home. I usually order the Maca Mama(which is delicious) and add pineapple and flaxseeds. The owner is super friendly and knows what he’s doing. Some of the staff are a bit less quick to get your order in and made, but I definitely don’t mind that the fruit is basically cut to order. Who wants a lacklustre, jamba style smoothie anyway? Whatever you do, don’t order using Unilocal.I don’t think they have the system set up yet. When I arrived they hadn’t received my order, so I was well behind quite a few other hungry customers. Really hope they stay bustling and in business. We need more places like this on Lake Shore.

I am so excited that Main Squeeze opened up on Lakeshore! This area was in dire need of a good healthy smoothie place, and Main Squeeze couldn’t have been a better fit. The owner(I think?) is really friendly and always remembers me, even after going a few weeks between visits. If I lived even closer, I’d probably eat here every day. I’m hooked on the Maca Mama smoothie, but everything I’ve had has been delicious.

Awesome to go if you want a fresh smoothie. You can taste everything with no added sugar! The guys working there were really nice and accommodating to see if the drink was good. The only down thing here was that the service was a bit slow, but drink taste great!

Pretty solid juice bar. The prices are reasonable. The menu doesn’t change that much… No specials or anything like that. It can get crowded.

I literally come here every morning for a Beleza Bowl. I’ve been waiting on a place that makes acai bowls near lakeshore for so long! I’m extremely happy they’re here, everyone who works there is great and very friendly. I like to order ahead because they can get pretty busy and it’s a small spot so I just like to get in and get out. So I would order ahead if you don’t like to wait but I highly recommend coming here, totally worth it.

Service was on the slow side. I notice a lot of the fruit isn’t prepped before hand e.g. Slicing the strawberries… maybe that’s why? Or maybe it was bc they got distracted bc saw MOBUCKETS/Speights from the Warriors there and the owners were giving them all these wheat wey and ginger shots. Ordered the Alpha bowl $ 9. I wish they pitted a hole in the middle of the ACAI so the toppings are more distributed. That way the bottom of the ACAI bowl gets some toppings too. Also I didn’t care for the apple. Texture didn’t go with the rest of the bowl. Refreshing for the hot day but I Wouldn’t go out of my way unless I was in the area. Tip: No sitting room except one bench outside.

Great customer service. Nice to everyone, kids too! They make great smoothies and acai bowls. So far I’ve had the Maca Mama smoothie and the Alpha Bowl. Not cheap, but not expensive for what they are. I feel good about what’s in them, and feel good after drinking/eating them. I’ll be back for more.

First off, great & unique name. This place is indeed, my main squeeze. The price is right, the service was on point and the location is great. I ordered a Carmen Miranda smoothie and boy did it taste FRESH! I inhaled my smoothie within 15 minutes(or less). I would love to come back here and try an acai bowl!

Ever have a bad day and then someone just does something so sweet it puts a smile on your face? Well that was me a few minutes ago. I was walking down the street in a funk when I saw this girl with a juice in her hand and I immediately thought, «I need a juice! !» I was so thirsty, I was practically running down the street. I walked in, but I didn’t realize they were closing and couldn’t ring up my order. I think it was the owner who smiled at me, quickly made my juice, and gave me my drink for free instead of turning me away! ! He was a total sweetheart along with the 2 other friendly employees in the shop. He probably didn’t know, but I was down to my last few dollars before my next paycheck, so I was really thankful for the kind gesture. I’ll be back for sure after payday! :)

There is a large menu to choose from juices, smoothies n acai bowls with different boosters. Have not tried the bowls yet but look like they can fill in for a meal. Being born in Brazil makes it always exciting to have any foods back from the motherland, and don’t get me wrong, the place is nice and have a nice menu, however I’ve never been so disappointed in an açaí bowl as I was today. My friend noticed this little gem was open in our hometown and that we wouldn’t have to drive 10 miles every time we wanted a good açaí bowl(since the ratings were 5 stars), but boy were we wrong. I ordered the beleza bowl and paying $ 7 for a bowl is pretty normal til you see what you get. Presentation wise it looked yummy, however the amount you receive for the price you pay wasn’t as exciting, and don’t let me get started on the flavor. Anyone who knows what an açaí bowl should taste like, and in adding guaraná, another delicious fruit from Brazil, would not understand why this bowl tasted sour, bitter, and with a funky yogurt/spoiled flavor. I was not able to enjoy my bowl whatsoever despite eating the banana, strawberry and top layer of the granola. I have not tried their smoothie, which is why I’m not rating this place 1 star, but their açaí bowls were very disappointing. I’m hoping my bowl was blended in a dirty blender by accident to justify the flavor. To anyone looking for a well made açaí bowl, just look at Vitality Bowls, you won’t be disappointed. Their açaí bowls are much closer to what it should taste. Sincerely you’re Brazilian born Oakland resident friend.

My girlfriends and I went here last Saturday for breakfast &LOVED it. The dessert acai bowl was the perfect serving size. Don’t be turned off by the word«dessert.» The healthy bowls are made with almond milk and do not taste overly sweet, which I have experienced with a lot of other acai bowls. They also had GF granola, which was great! The owner took his time making our bowls, but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed his friendliness. He was also very accommodating. I’ll definitely be back as our breakfast was yummy and filling! I also loved all of the other options, including smoothies and add-ons, such as hemp protein.

I ordered the Beleza Acai bowl and was really disappointed. Visually, it looked nice but that doesn’t justify the fact that it was $ 7 dollars and the actual acai mix tasted like they had blended lemon peels in it. It was bitter, watered down and a bit sour. I would rather go to Vitality Bowls because at least there, you can be certain that the taste and portion matches the price you pay!

Yum! Best acai bowl I’ve had in the Bay! The staff are super friendly. I’ll definitely be back for my next Acai fix and I look forward to trying their other offerings too. Welcome to the neighborhood, Main Squeeze!

Ever in the search for an acai bowl at least somewhat comparable to Café Brasil in Santa Cruz, I headed to Main Squeeze after reading Albertino’s review. Walking from Piedmont Avenue/Broadway, I was ready to eat something. They have two acai bowl choices, the $ 7 Beleza Bowl(acai, guarana, bananas, a sliced strawberry, and granola all drizzled over with honey) and the $ 9 Dessert Bowl(acai, blueberries, bananas, raspberries, maca, cacao, hempseed, coconut flakes and granola drizzled with honey). I opted for the Beleza bowl to get a sense of the basics without all the added sweetness of the cacao and coconut flakes. It came in a small plastic tub about 3 – 3.5 inch wide and 3 – 4 inches tall. The presentation was nice with the sliced bananas surrounding the rim of the container and the sliced strawberry placed in the middle. What won me over about this acai bowl despite its size was the consistency of the acai and guarana blend and the crispy, sweet granola. The acai was thick, not runny like most places, and was well blended. The granola was golden colored and sweet, but thankfully not overly sweet given there was a generous helping of honey added to it. The three workers who worked there were funny and efficient. There were about 6 people ahead of me and I still got my bowl within about 5 – 7 minutes. There’s street parking outside. There aren’t spaces to eat inside, but there’s a bench outside and a small nearby park. I will absolutely come back. Thank you, Main Squeeze, for finally finding me a place to enjoy an acai bowl without driving an hour and a half away!
