I am a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist. I started my business here in Oakland at Ajuda Day Spa, the salon has a new owner and is now Pinandtonicsalon. My full service spa room is inside pin & tonic. Services offered are facials, waxing, eyelash extensions and professional makeup.

Certified in Chemical Peels, Brazilian Waxing, Novalash Eyelash Extension and Airbrush Makeup by Dinair, I started doing makeup as a hobby and it quickly became a passion that I made a career. I came here yesterday and got the deep pore facial. Elisha was very informative and answered all my questions regarding my skin. She recomended things I can do to improve my skin and made me feel so comfortable. My skin was very soft and just felt fresh. I bought a product she recommended and didn’t feel pressured at all. My cousin also got the same facial and looked as if she had full coverage foundation. We both have different skin types, don’t expect the same look. My face was red in a few areas, no pain though. A day later and my skin looks so beautiful. Definitely coming back and recommend Elisha.

Elisha is amazing! First of all, she was so accommodating. I was 10 min late for my appointment, but since she had a client right after, she told me that she wouldn’t be able to finish my lashes that day. However, she said I could re-​book for free (which I did).
I bought the Groupon for $ 50, and I have to say, this is definitely the best deal I’ve gotten so far. It also comes with a touch-​up if you go back within 4 weeks. The salon is inside Pin & Tuck, in a cute, kind of hipster area of downtown Oakland. Elisha was prepared when I arrived about 15 min early, and quickly got me settled in.
She’s really professional, explained the process well and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I even fell asleep while she was doing my lashes.
On to the lashes themselves: I got the «natural» look which was absolutely perfect for everyday wear. My friends have all commented on how great they look, and seriously, it’s nice to wake up already looking good. The lashes are really light, and you get used to them within 10 min of walking out of the salon. They feel a lot less synthetic than a lot of other falsies.
So far, they still look perfect and it’s been a week. I’ll definitely be coming back!
