Mix Montclair is the fresh and exciting new location of our former store Harmonique Home which was on Solano Avenue in Berkeley for ten years. Mix reflects a change to showcase how simple, affordable and beautiful clean contemporary furniture and window coverings can be in any home setting. We offer free in-home consultations to assist with your home design and décor needs.

Business Owner
After many years in the software industry, Patricia changed careers to pursue two things she loves… travel and interior design. The combination of these two passions created the business Harmonique which started first as an interior design practice, and then a home furnishings and décor store, Harmonique Home in Berkeley. After ten great years in Berkeley, Patricia and her husband Jerry found a perfect new location in the Montclair Village district of Oakland-just five minutes from their home in the Oakland hills. This new store called Mix, a Shade Store and More… has a definitely contemporary vibe with a wall of sample window shade options, sleek contemporary furniture, the famous American Leather Comfort Sleeper, and unique home accent tables, chairs and artwork… much of which is gathered by Pat and Jerry on their annual trips to Asia.
