Chatted with Pourya, about fixing my Google Nexus 4 broken screen. He said they have the part and takes about 30 minutes to fix it. Went in about 11:45. After doing the paperwork and stuff, it took less that 30 minutes for them to fix it. Works well. Nice work guys. Total cost $ 90 + taxes… About $ 98…

This store is completely magical. I’ve been struggling with no being able to make calls on my iphone6 for the past three days. Everything else works great, but can’t make or receive calls. So it was really just a tiny iPad. This morning I finally tried the dreaded factory restore button, but was only able to accept phone calls and still can’t call anyone.
I walked into the store, was promptly greeted and had my phone looked at. I have no idea what pixie dust they have in the store, but when they tried calling to and from my phone, suddenly everything is working again! And the sound quality was even better than before, if that’s possible.
The whole time, service was very professional and they remained courteous despite me wasting their time on something that’s somehow no longer broken and didn’t charge me a penny!

I was very impressed with their technical knowledge and their customer service.
I brought my computer in to replace my dying hard drive with a solid state drive. It turned out to be a bit more complex as my old drive bit the dust before it could be cloned. Suffice it to say, these guys installed the new drive and made several attempts to copy data off the old one. They kept me informed every step of the way with multiple telephone calls, charged a fair price, and got the job done quickly.

Took my phone here because I dropped it and the screen shattered. When I called they said the can fix it in about 20 minutes. I didn’t think this was possible I took it in anyways because it needed to be fixed. This place was easy to find. I walked in and didn’t need an appointment. They were great at fixing my screen which was destroyed. It was a iPhone 6. I dropped it off got coffee and when I came back it was ready.

My 27″ IMac had the spinning wheel of death, so I have my IT cousin come out to see if he can help me. After spending all afternoon and eventually bringing it home with him, he called me and said I’d probably need a new hard drive. He’s mostly a PC guy, and didn’t want to take on changing out my hard drive, so he checked around and told me to give My Emergency Guy a call. I brought it in to Phillip and he said they’d start with Data Recovery and he’d let me know if I needed the hard drive. He called me 2 days later and confirmed I needed it, and initially I asked for 1 terabyte but later decided on 2 terabyte since it wasn’t that much more. My IMac was ready 2 days later, and I am happy to have it back so soon (Apple Store would have taken much longer), and for a good price (Apple Store would have been much more).

I love this place. I’ve had phone screens replaced and most recently they put a new hard drive into our iMac. In both cases, they provided an excellent diagnosis and assessment of the options and always used top quality materials. Labor was very reasonable.

Have to update this to say again how helpful these guys are. Last fall, my iPhone 5c’s screen went dead. This was after a trip to Disneyland with my then 2.5 year old daughter and a few hundred priceless photos… and no, I had not yet backed up my phone, nor was it connected to iCloud. The phone had password on it too, so I couldn’t even back it up just by plugging it in. Apple told me they couldn’t help me retrieve the contents of the phone, that they’d likely just replace the phone. These guys replaced the screen for me and I was able to get the photos off my phone!
After that, I got an iPhone 6, and the screen has recently started acting up off and on… again. Couldn’t wake the phone up from sleep mode. I brought it over to these guys, and I don’t know why, but they were able to get the screen to wake up just by starting to charge it (and yeah, I had tried that myself already!). This allowed me to back up my phone and make sure I set it to back up photos to the cloud.
They are always professional and quick to assist when I’ve walked in the door.

My Emergency Guy fixed the screen on our son’s iPhone while we waited, for a reasonable fee. Next, they cured a virus-​like event on my MacAir by installing a new operating system. Finally, they switched up the hard drive on our son’s Macbook Pro. We had a bit of a misunderstanding about the cost of this repair. When we questioned them, they rethought the cost and gave us a refund. We really appreciated their integrity in this process.
Without the overcharging, which could have been a misunderstanding for all we knew, we would have given them five stars. They make repairs much less stressful than working with the Apple Store. The employees could possibly learn a bit more about the pleasantries that people in our rarified neighborhood expect but this is not a requirement.
Very nice concept and a valuable service.

Great service, reasonable price! Brought my iPhone with broken LCD and got it fixed in half an hour. The charge was less than what the Apple Store would charge me. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants their electronic products fixed.

I’ve had these guys work on my various devices multiple times.
They’ve fixed Iphone and ipad screens and I just had them upgrade the hard drive in my MacBook air. They are super FAST, friendly, really reasonably priced and professional. I really appreciate their help and their customer service is excellent.

Wow their prices sure have gone up since last summer when folks reviewing here were charged $ 75 to replace a broken iPhone screen. I just called and was quoted $ 140 + tax. Um, guys, the Apple Store only charges $ 109. I guess I’ll be taking my iPhone 6 to them.

I drowned my LG Trac phone. It was completely soaked. There was a large watermark under the screen. I tried blow drying it under cool air. I stored it in a box full of desiccant for 3 days. The watermark just got smaller.
Unfortunately, I didn’t back up my cellphone. I needed my data recovered (i.e., contact, call logs, & text messages). So, I called them. They were open, friendly and honest. $ 75 if they are able to recover my data, otherwise free.
A couple hours later, they called me with the GOOD news. They were able to recover ALL my data from my soaked wet cellphone. MIRACLE!
Excellent customer service, friendly, professional and best of all, reasonable price and really fast service.

Update. Great customer service still remains the same, no hard sell, easy going and reasonable prices, not the least expensive, but this is my go to place for phone AND COMPUTER repair. Great 1^st time experience for my son to communicate and work out his own business. (i had him bring it to Apple to get an estimate first) He brought in his computer the Computer Guys and HE spoke with the techie. They were able to fix the loose hinges and replace the wiring that was causing his screen to flash red.
Emergency Guys, you keep doing what you’re doing and thank you for making my son’s experience with you a great one.

Took my Nexus 5 in (dead non-​responsive screen) based on other Unilocalers experiences. Diagnosis took five minutes, Tested to see if the screen connection was wonky, but seems screen itself defective. New screen, out the door in less than 45 minutes. Really reasonable price (less than I paid the place that installed the defective screen).
Life is good again.

I completely shattered the ENTIRE screen on my phone last night while I was running my dog. I’ve dropped my phone several times before, but never directly on the screen. I was so anxious and stressed out until I remembered coming here before to buy a new phone charger. I looked up a few different places including Apple, which charged anywhere from $ 200 – 300, and I knew to come straight here. Especially after reading all of the good reviews about this place.
Right when I got on my lunch at work, I came by and dropped off my phone. I couldn’t help but giggle when I showed him my phone because it looked SO destroyed. I was charged $ 75 plus tax and my phone looks completely brand new. The entire service took no longer than 20 mins! I seriously recommend coming here if you need any service on your phones/​laptops.

The last time I went in here, I was so glad to see they were doing well and had expanded their space. I feel truly lucky to have someone nearby that I can bring my computers and phones too and trust them to 1) figure out what’s wrong 2) assess and advise on the situation appropriately 3) charge me fairly for what I need
I have now brought several phones and a laptop and gotten exactly what I needed. My housemate has also brought stuff in for repair. I would highly recommend them for any electronic repair… he is exactly what he says… my emergency guy!

I took my iPhone 5 in for its broken screen after I dropped it on the floor, paid about $ 80 after tax when I picked it up, and everything seemed to be fine.
Then I noticed that the front and back camera weren’t working anymore. Apparently, the guy that replaced the screen had messed up the logic board in the process of replacing the screen. When I took it back to the store the next day for it to be fixed since they have the 90-​day warranty on repairs, they couldn’t fix it.
Side note: the guy there asked me if there was any possibility that anyone I knew had ever opened up the phone without my knowledge to cause the camera to HAPPEN to stop functioning right after their repair (which is completely ridiculous)
I was told that I would have to give them my phone for at least week to outsource the repair, and there was STILL a chance that they wouldn’t be able to fix the camera. Breaking a major feature on my phone after taking $ 80 seemed like fair ground for me to get at least a partial refund, but I was told that they could give me my money back only if they put back the cracked screen, as if everything else would be in the same condition. Um… you still messed up my phone? I did end up getting the repair done after someone I knew kindly lent me a phone to use in the meantime, and the repair took about two weeks.
I WANTED to be one of the 5-​star reviewers. I really did. I did eventually get my iPhone back with a fixed screen (which is the reason for two stars instead of one), but My Emergency Guy gave me an $ 80 price tag that left me to deal with unnecessary hassle and inconvenience.

My MacBook Pro wouldn’t get past the grey screen, couldn’t even start on safe mode. My hard disc was corrupt, and nothing I did was able to fix it. Thought I’d have to reformat my hard disk but turned out my backup file was corrupt too so was desperate. (Earliest Apple genius appointment was in a week?!)
I walked in to these guys. They were very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. Was able to recover my data, fix my hard drive and give recommendations. Got my computer back in 4 hours, working like a charm, all data intact. Very reasonably priced. These guys are saviors! I highly recommend them! Great to have these guys in the neighborhood.
