If you have problems walking up steep stairs, then you’d be best to avoid this place. It has a steep staircase that leads up to a kind of retrofitted apartment. The setting is very nice. When I visited there were a lot of people; thus stimulating my pet peeve of people gossiping in front of art. Get outta the way, eh! Quality of artwork was okay. It kinda felt like student artwork.

This second-​floor gem is not to be missed — check it out at the Oakland Art murmur, downtown Oakland’s «First Fridays» for the Opening Reception April 4, 6 – 10 pm.
NoneSuch Space seeks to deepen and broaden arts offerings to the
Oakland community with works to excite the imaginations of artists and
collectors. It presents adventurous programming, film
screenings, events and lectures on a variety of social and
environmental issues. It also provides arts and media
training to Oakland youth in partnership with other regional
not-​for-​profit organizations.
NoneSuch Space is a project of Paragon Media, a not for profit 501 © 3 organization. It’s currently seeking an intern to assist in preparation of exhibitions, help with graphic design, and involvement in the expansion of programs, including film screenings.
