I came in today and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful man named Jose. The service department really took much care of my car helped me with all the questions i had! Great place!

The service team at Acura Oakland is truly phenomenal. From the initial intake through cashing out. They were very professional and seemed to really want to make sure I was pleased as a customer. They also really took care of my car. This is my second experience with the service department and this time I just had to write review because they deserve it.
Previously I was taking my car to Acura Fremont, but moving forward Acura Oakland is where I’ll go.

This is a review for a new car purchase. I just bought a new 2016 Acura TLX 3.5L Technology Package.
I recommend anyone who wants to get a new or used car to come to Oakland Acura and ask for Raquel Lopez. She provided awesome service. She’s honest, patient, and friendly. She will also make sure she understands your needs and want for your purchase. She will work with you on the price and beyond to make sure you go home happy. This is the second car I bought from Raquel and she took care of me again. I highly recommend Raquel! You will not be disappointed.
Second, I also want to thank Ray from finance. He was very nice, patient, and friendly with me and my wife.

I just hit my 50,000 mile service with my MDX and as always the team were AWESOME! For some reason my battery was dying on me and Gary was a superstar and changed it out at no extra charge.
I was in need of new tires and brakes. I did a cost comparison online quick to find it was less than $ 100 difference to have it fixed somewhere else and you know what it was well worth the convenience to just have the Acura team do it for me.
I have never received such a high level of customer service and quality product that has performed flawlessly over an extended period of time and i’m very happy to say that Richard (Salesman) and Gary (Service advisor) are still with the company 3 years on and get a ¹⁰⁄₁₀ on customer service!

After having a bad experience at Concord Acura, I called and spoke with Raquel Lopez. We made an appointment for that afternoon. Upon arriving, she was super-​professional and gathered all the information about my trade-​in, along with my desires for a new car.
She then had my trade-​in appraised and we worked through the financial details. She found all the incentives that I qualified for, there were no games or pressure, and we quickly agreed on a fair price for both my trade-​in, and for a lease on a 2016 ILX.
After working with Alex and Ray in the Finance Department, Raquel thoroughly explained all the controls and helped me setup my preferences.
Oakland Acura knows how to treat customers with respect and makes the car-​buying experience easy. They are the best car dealer I have ever worked with.

Oakland Acura is great. 3 years ago I got a 2013 TSX from them, and I just bought a new TLX to replace my TSX. Service department is usually pretty good as well. Typically they have not offered loaner cars for routine maintenance, but may still offer them for more expensive appointments.

I recently leased a 2015 Acura TLX from Oakland Acura and I am so happy with the service and patience they provided! This is my third car from Oakland Acura and I cannot picture myself going anywhere else.
Rufino «Doc» Bales was an amazing car salesman. He made sure to explain every feature about the car, the difference between the other models, the difference between a purchase and a lease, and the promotions they were currently offering. He answered all my questions and didn’t pressure or push me into buying the car right away. He took his time and was very patient with me. Rufino «Doc» Bales was knowledgable, professional, understanding and honest. Best car salesman!
The sales/​finance managers Alex Diani and Ray Santamaria were also a great help with my leasing process. They helped me get the best offer and also mentioned all the incentives that I qualified for. They made sure I was happy with the numbers and kept working with me until I was fully satisfied. They answered all my questions and made the financial aspect of getting a new car so painless!

SALES: I went in based on a guarantee to match a price from another dealer. I told them in advance I wanted to buy the car right away to take advantage of expiring incentives. I told them I had issues at a previous dealership with scams and tricks.
When I arrived, I was told they did not have the car and couldn’t bring it to the dealership until the next day. I was OK with that, except I wanted to make sure they weren’t planning to drop a big price change at the last second. Turned out they were going to do just that.
After I asked to see the total price and complete paperwork in advance, I had to wait for some time. Eventually, the salesman tapped me on the shoulder and told me I had to speak to the manager, as if I was being called into the principal’s office. The manager harshly told me to look at the quote closely and compare to numbers he had.
It turned out the other dealer may have tried to hide a fee in their quote. Nevertheless, Oakland Acura had plenty of time to examine the quote and decide whether to match. Instead, they told me they would match, hooked me into coming to the dealership, and were only going to disclose the $ 1000 extra at the last second.
They had numerous opportunities to do things right. They could have warned me in advance, obviously, especially given they are in a position to know all the numbers. They could have told me when I arrived. And they could have even been a lot more apologetic or courteous when they added $ 1000.
I went here with the expectation they would be friendly and hold to their word. It’s really unfortunate that didn’t happen. I actually had a previous experience with them that was positive. In this case, I was forced to leave and never heard back from anyone.

I would like to thank all of the staff at Oakland Acura for the best car buying experience I have ever had! Everyone is very kind, knowledgable, and most importantly they put no pressure on me to purchase a car or try to sway me into something that I was not interested in. Jin, you did an amazing job my friend and thank you for making a memorable experience purchasing a car! I will be sure to recommend anyone I know in the market for a car to consider Oakland Acura.

Just had my car serviced by Raymond. I made an appointment, dropped my car off and let him know that I was having issues with my side mirror making clicking noises and also issues with my car starting. Raymond was able to get everything fixed for me in a few days. Thank goodness for my extended warranty and for Raymond! He’s always very helpful even when I need a simple oil change. His service is friendly and he’s communication is great. Thanks for the great service Acura!

Local Costco car dealer. Welcoming staff that will welcome you and give you tips about the car and buying experience. I told them that I was moving to Florida and they still let me test drive all roads and help me figure out what is a fair price. I never felt so good at a car dealership.

Pretty top-​notch service here. I recently came in for Acura Customer appreciation month, where they basically run a detailed diagnosis on your car to see if there are any problems. I was greeted upon entering by one of the reps and was told it would take about 1.5 hours. While waiting, I helped myself to a cookie and some coffee in their waiting lounge. There’s free WIFI, magazines and a TV for your viewing pleasure. The couches are leather and pretty comfy.
After about an hour wait, they called me over and reviewed the diagnosis step by step with me. There was no haggling of any sort to get the work done with them today, which was nice. They even vacuumed and washed my car so it was cleaner than when I came in.

After a nightmare dealing with Fremont Acura and Steven’s Creek not having the car I wanted in stock, I was a little discouraged about having to buy a car without any hassle. Well, Acura of Oakland totally proved me wrong.
I got an email and call back from Raquel after I sent numerous requests online to Acura dealerships. After talking to her over the phone, I had a feeling that this experience might be difference from the rest. Also, as luck would have it, they had one of the few Acura ILX Hybrid with Tech Package in stock. It also happened to be the color and interior I wanted! I notified my boyfriend that we were heading to Oakland.
I met Raquel, and as I expected she was so friendly and awesome. She was nothing but helpful, sweet, and informative. I love how she knew I was Filipino and knew how programmers worked. My boyfriend is a programmer and wanted to play with all the controls; she let him. I was in love with this car since I saw it at the Autoshow in San Jose, but even more after the test drive.
After the test drive, Raquel thoroughly explained things, but wasn’t too overbearing. We never felt any «Car Salesman» vibe nor were we pressured. I love how she gauged our situation before our visit so that the purchase was quick, simple, and painless. Also, she offered me one the best prices in the bay!
The boyfriend signed the check and documents; we closed the deal quickly and we were able to drive off!
Thanks to everyone, and I literally mean everyone at Acura of Oakland. Every staff member treated us well and greeted us. We love our car so far! I would totally recommend anyone to visit these folks!
