Wow, I really wish I had read the reviews before coming here. I was leaving for a trip and hoped to get a couple of blouses cleaned before I left. Did a quick search on Google and found this place called«One Hour Dry Cleaner» which is located a couple blocks from my house. After taking my 2 blouses(which were clean except for a slight smell of body odor and a couple of small food stains) and filling out the paperwork the woman working said«OK come back Friday.» It was Tuesday and I was hoping to get the blouses done before Wednesday, when I left for my 4-day trip. So I said, «Oh, there’s no way I can get them done today?» It was 12:30PM. Not late in the day. The woman looked at me with an expression of complete shock. «TODAY??? NOOOO… The machine is already turned off!» I don’t know what that means… is it turned off right now, or forever? I’m sorry, isn’t this place called ONEHOURDRYCLEANER??? She already had my blouses and I decided that I didn’t need them that badly for my trip to argue with her so I just took the stupid pink slip and left in a sour mood. When I got my shirts back it cost $ 15, which is pretty cheap I guess… Good thing I had cash on me because I just noticed the«Cash Only» sign, which is discreetly placed on the door in scrawling handwriting among a very long list of other demands and statements that they make, among which is that they are not responsible for any damage that they do to any clothing. Haha. My blouses were completely wrinkle-free and looked alright, but not as clean as I had hoped. The subtle food stains and body odor were still there. Never coming back here again. I would rather drive the 25 miles to Fairfax and go to Picaroto cleaners.

F this place. Strike 1: Cash only? Yeah, thanks for pointing that out AFTER I dropped off my clothes on your faded sign that doesn’t even face customers. Had to run to the ATM to get money before they closed, adding $ 2.50 my tab, for a total of $ 9.50 for two pairs of slacks! Strike 2: My clothes still smell like they came out of my dirty laundry bag. I could have done better(and cheaper) with a bottle of febreze Strike 3: My pants don’t even looks remotely like I took them to the cleaners. Oh, except for that weird halo around pockets and creases that makes seams, pockets and any other detail look faded. The pants looks pressed(or ironed?) but deep wrinkles are clearly still visible. WASTEOFTIMEANDMONEY!

So inconvenient! I went in 2 times today(morning and afternoon) and both times they were closed(even tho I went when their sign said they were open). Also, they ONLYTAKECASH and nothing larger than a $ 20. The sign about cash only is not very visible. If I’d known when I dropped off my items, I would have just gone somewhere else. Also, it’s not 1-hour, more like 3 days.

Went in today and a rude man that was just hanging around outside loitering came in and try to cut in line. When I called him out on it, he raised his voice and got in my face, threatening me. I didn’t back down and stood up to him but the owner of this place tapped my hand hard and said don’t react to him instead of throwing the guy out and calling the police. F-this place. Oh, and the charged for hemming a pair of pants that I swear were no shorter than when I brought them in. Avoid like the plague.

I try not to lose my cool, but the woman who is always there in the morning doesn’t tell you anything useful. I had an office party I had to go to and took my things in on a Monday morning and she told me that I had to come back on Wednesday to pick up my clothing. I arrived Wednesday morning and she looks through her book and tells me that she told me that on Monday my clothes wouldn’t be available until 12:30 P.M. I knew she was lying because if she had said that I would of went somewhere else since I needed them no later than Wednesday morning. Also, before I left, I looked around the whole entryway of the shop and there was nothing that stated that was the available time for pickup and there was nothing on my receipt that said that as well. I called my best friend who was in town the week before and used this place during that time and asked if they told him that was the time for pickup and he said the owner didn’t give a time, just the day. One Hour Dry Cleaner my foot!

WORST — PLACE — EVER; it takes so much for me to actually despise and hate a place or person with every fiber of my being — if there were a five-star system for accomplishing this feat, One Hour Dry Cleaner would have received ten stars. Called and asked if they’re open on the weekends(I later found out it was the owner that answered the phone) to which I was told they were only open on Saturday — perfect. I walked in around 11:50 — I wasn’t worried about getting my dry cleaning done in an hour, so much as I was needing it done in general by Saturday; I leave for a trip on Monday. The owner tells me that she won’t accept my dry cleaning because it’s too late — what? «When is the cut off time?» — it’s 12noon, but she’s apparently upset because I ‘waited’ until the last minute. 11:50 doesn’t seem last minute. There was no one else there, and I explained that it was urgent and additionally that no one had indicated there was a cut off of noon when I called the day prior. Please, for the love of baby jesus — do not patronize this business, as a personal favor. I will personally pay $ 1 of your garment to get it done elsewhere.
