Pro Copy & Printing

The prices are ridiculously high. 25 black and white 11×17 prints for $ 35? That’s more than $ 1.00 per. Where as I can get the same thing, same quality at Office Depot for only $.14 per print.
That’s a difference of $ 30. Are you kidding me?

Awesome local copy shop with reasonable prices. Needed to print some invitations on thick card stock of my own. They told me exactly what to do, finished in record time, didn’t charge for cuts (I made two invites per page), and had lovely customer service.
Forget Fed-​Ex/​Kinkos — go here!

I only seem to print things in emergency situations or when I’m in a HUGE hurry. Pro Copy & Printing has come through for me every time. I can send them email requests in the morning with my files attached, and pick up within a matter of hours. They are quick, competent, and well-​priced. They even offer 10% off when you mention Unilocal!
Really friendly, personal service makes all the difference. If you’re a last minute gal like me, Pro Copy & Print has you covered!

I ran around to 4 other copy places in the area and Pro Copy and Printing was my last stop. They. were. amazing. Not only cool vibes and lovley pictures adorn the space, but they themselves answered all my questions within 1 min of entry, and I got all my copies done in a timely manner. I now only go there for all my copy /​lamination needs.

Worst place ever. I come here to copy me paper and it cost 25 cents for each one (for self service). I will never come here ever.

I used to go there for passport photos. Easy and friendly, with better pricing than CVS and Walgreens. Good for small quick tasks, like a hotel business center. Probably wouldn’t go there for high-​volume printing. Would be nice if open on a Sat/​Sun, or maybe have extended hours one day per week.

Wonderful people working this place. They assisted me right away with a last minute printing of stickers and posters. Excellent prices as well and friendly owners taking the time to speak to me and specifics on my needed prints.
Highly recommend, will be coming back to place soon to print more stuff!

I wrote a novel and wanted proper copies of the manuscript. Nothing fancy, just copied and spiraled. 467 pages.
I tell dude this.
«Fifteen cents per page,» he says with a straight face.
I try to make sense of that. «Do you mean, per sheet of paper? Or per side?»
«Per side. Per page. Fifteen cents.»
We do the math. Seventy dollars. Per. And that is just the copying. The binding is of course extra.
I am still trying to pretend we are on Earth. «I need more than one copy. Is there a discount???»
Dude looks around the room and obviously pulls a number out of the air. «Discount after … like … 20 copies.»
Wow. Wow.
Pro Copy is close to my job, and I wanted to make this a quick errand. I have more money than time. But this was an insult. I don’t know what else to call it.
So I thanked him and left and I did what I should have done in the first place, which was go to Copygrafik in Berkeley. (I will be writing a review for Copygrafik next.) Maybe a year ago they printed and bound an earlier draft of this same book without robbing me.
Three cents a page at Copygrafik. Three cents a page.
I picked up my copies the next day, today. They are beautiful. The whole entire job, 5 bound copies of a 467-​page novel, cost me $ 100.
Fifteen cents a page is fine if you need a quick copy of your phone bill or something, but either Pro Copy doesn’t want to copy more than 100 pages for anyone or they figure that if nine people walk back out like I did and they rob the tenth one it is worth it. They may be right about that. I saved over $ 250 by taking 30 extra minutes to go 4 BART stops and back.

I was on a short deadline and I went to three other shops within the past 3 hours without any results. I happen to stumble upon this print shop and the owner Sam. Can I tell you what a blessing Sam was to me! He guided me thru all the steps, helped me print and bind my 131 page book. And he did all of this in a 1 hour! This place is awesome and the customer service is beyond and other. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needed printing service. Thank you again Sam!!!

The guy was very friendly and helpful. The computer and printer work perfectly! And I was in and out in less then 5 minutes. If you have to print something, or if you need to make copies I recommend this place :)

Didn’t get the service guy’s name. maybe he was the owner. arab/​india guy. no, they don’t all look alike. just wasn’t paying attention.
got my rubber stamp made within 2 days. was promised in five.days. banks usually took 2 weeks and costs more $$.
informed stamp. can be re-​inked for 4.95. will consider it since i’m all thumbs and uncoordinated. (except when writing reviews).

I’ve been in here every day for the last week, bringing in color print projects and picking them up the next day. They’re great for a quick turn around a reliable color printing (and stapling!) Sam takes the time to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Also the inside smells better than the inside of most print shops, and the colorful images on the wall are quite calming

Exceeded all expectations. A full bleed, full color heavyweight business card job we needed by Saturday was completed within a couple hours by special request. Sam was fast, efficient and returned calls promptly. They obviously know what they are doing and provide friendly and accommodating customer service. I would definitely use them again as a designer. I called and sent them the files from Boston and had my client look at the proof in Oakland. Done! Very impressed.

Sam is great! My university has been using this place for a while and we come all the way from SF to have Sam work on our books. We trust him.

These guys are the best. They are super helpful and friendly. They offer the kind of personal care that is so desperately lacking from the customer service industry these days. They are genuine and actually care about the services that the provide.
I had a rush job for a proposal to the city of Oakland. It was a 60 page document that I needed 4 copies of. I came in at 1 and I needed it by 3. The printed it while I waited, helped me ensure that all the formatting made sense and even helped me seal and label box for delivery to the city office. Everything came out perfectly and the price was extremely reasonable. If I ever have more print needs in the East Bay I will certainly be back.

I’m very happy I went to Pro Copy to fix an error in my wedding invitation suites. They were super helpful: Sam gave me three proofs for free and helped me compare different inks and cardstock. They were able to print the job in less than six hours whereas the original vendor would not have been able to get them to me in under five days. Moreover the new print job cost less at Pro Copy than it would have with the original printer!
These guys really saved the day, and I have learned my lesson about working with online printers. If anything goes wrong with the order (in this instance the original printer made a mistake and so did I) they can’t respond very quickly. I’ll definitely take my business back to Pro Copy.

Service was quick and very on point. Prices are much more reasonable than FedEx Kinkos or office supply stores. Overall, it was a very efficient experience and the yes helped me print out everything I needed for work. You also get a discount as a non-​profit organization so you can’t go wrong.

The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. I went early in the morning (8 AM) and there was no line or wait. They charged me extra for some of my copies because the originals were on a dark background (15 cents instead of 5 cents), but they also reprinted copies that had come out smudged or cut off for free. I would definitely go back here.
One thing to note is that they light incense in the store, so if you are sensitive to smoke or fragrance, this might not be the place for you.

True story!
The two staff members here are amazing! I love the fact that they don’t hoover around you and you’re left to do what you need. But when you need them, they’re right there to help you out! They’re very sweet and helpful, which makes the cost efficient and exceptional service the thing that keeps me coming back.
It is HUGE inside and there’s also their cultural music playing in the back ground and incenses burning nearby. When you walk it, there’s about 5 self copiers and fliers everywhere telling you the price for what and that. For five cents a copy, at least minimum of 25 cents, that’s pretty much the sweetest deal for copying around! I love coming because the machines are easy to use and whenever my total comes out, m it’s usually cheaper than I except it to be!
They’re very trusting when it comes to count. They usually just ask you how many, SO BE HONEST. But if you make huge loads of copies, they also have a counter in the copier to know for sure.
In addition to self copying, they offer for 6cents per copy to do it for you, as well as making banners, books, doing binding, menus, and etc. Great terms when it comes to pricing and they never pressure you.
The place is super clean, though parking is a bit of a drag in Downtown Oakland. Fair pricing and friendly-​helpful staff really makes everything better. Not everybody is copying machine smarts, so it’s good that there’s knowledgeable people there to help you. I know they take both cash and card, so you’re in luck!
Whenever you’re in need of a place for copies, Pro Copy& Printing get it done! Plus, I love helping out a local vendor instead of a Kinkos or something. Best of all, if you make it in by 6PM ON THE DOT before the close, they let you print and not rush you out!
AND LASTLY, they have a student discount!

I came in here to mass produce my hand written Christmas letter cartoon in color. Honestly, I didn’t give a rip about the quality, just wanted something quick and dirty. The staff however, cared a great deal, and I got a better product than I bargained for (great paper and beautiful imagery) at a reasonable price. So I used them again this year for my annual Christmas letter, and I now use them for rush jobs at work.
They are wonderful.
