Resurrect is a mix of handmade clothing, jewelry, apothecary, and accessories from West Coast artists and designers plus vintage clothing for men and women. The store is also a rotating art gallery featuring a new local artist every month. Resurrect’s mission is to promote local artists and designers and educate consumers about the many perks of buying locally!

History

Established in 2012.

Resurrect opened it’s doors on Piedmont Avenue in September of 2012.

Meet the Business Owner

Kate E.

Business Owner

Kate Morrow has been in the retail industry for over 10+ years and worked in many different types of retail fashion stores ranging from main stream corporations to small mom and pop shops. Most recently, she was an Area Manager for the large national resale clothing chain, Buffalo Exchange, and was responsible for supervising 6 California locations.

Kate has also owned and been responsible for creating her own line of clothing for 10 years. She has curated and participated in numerous fashion shows, including one at the MOMA in Phoenix, Arizona. Kate also had experience with co-​owning a small art collective with 10 other designers in Phoenix. She has sold her clothing on consignment at many different stores throughout the Southwest, so has experience on how the consignment process works as an artist. She has a keen eye for craftsmanship and knows quality of construction.
