Chef Yulanda H.

Business Owner

Chef Yulanda Hendrix, Executive Chef & owner of Simply Bliss Catering & Events, has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She draws her influence form her mother who’s an Italian Chef, and spending the summers on her Grandmother’s hog farm; with women that could make anything taste good. Chef Yulanda fuses her classical French training with her southern roots to create unique dishes such as Collard Green Sushi & Mexican Wontons just to name a few.

After finishing culinary school in Chicago, Chef Yulanda honed her skills working and training with a host of world renowned Chefs. The most influential being; Wolfgang Puck, Matt Bencivenga, Lee Hefter, Francois Kwaku-​Dongo and Christian Gaborit. Focusing on high end fine dining banquets and catering, Chef Yulanda played important roles in such events as Wolfgang Puck’s acclaimed Oscar Dinners, Oprah’s 50th Birthday Bash, and fund raising dinners for President Obama.
