Honestly, the pizza was great and the delivery was fast. The reason I’m giving one star is because of the menu. I ordered breadsticks. The breadsticks came with a pesto base, under the cheese(NOTINDICATEDONTHEMENU). I’m deathly allergic to nuts of all kinds. Normally breadsticks don’t come with pesto in my experience, and if they do its normally indicated on the menu. It’s probably my fault for not asking, but I went into anaphylaxis. Not fun.

DELIVERY: Ordered through EAT24 app, my address is hard to see so I gave specifics about what my house looks like and my location in relation to very obvious markers along the street(including the only speed bump directly in front of my house). It was a fast delivery, 45 minutes, exactly what the app quoted. However, the driver drove way past my house called me to come outside and hung up. I called out to him when I saw him about to go into an address 5 houses away, and walked to get my pizza. I was a little annoyed that I wrote out specific instructions and they weren’t even looked at, and I had to walk down the street to get my food. FOOD: I used a coupon on the EAT24 app which allowed me to get an 18″ two topping pizza for ~$ 20. Pretty sweet. I ordered a jalapeño pizza with sausage on half. The pizza was one of those pizzas where you open the box and can tell that you’ve ordered a mediocre pizza immediately. The ingredients look cheep. All the sausages are perfect little balls, the jalapeños don’t just look baked, but a little old. I could have got a cheese pizza at Safeway, and chopped up jalapeños and sausage to put on there for a fraction of the cost and had a better pizza. BOTTOMLINE: This is a pizza to get that will be perfect for ordering when you get home hammered with your friends. It’s fast, it’s cheap, you won’t complain about it if you’re drunk. This is not the type of pizza to get when you’re having a movie date night at home. Just spend the extra money and pick it up from Zachary’s.

Two medium pizzas, one hawaiian, one with white sauce and artichoke hearts, and two sides of ranch dressing. 45 minute delivery, not bad for a Friday night at 6 pm. The pizzas were, at best, «pizza». The toppings weren’t that spectacular, but they weren’t by any means«bad». The dough itself was a bit undercooked, but that’s how my girlfriend likes it. I would prefer something with any crunch, but again, not bad. My only actual complaint is that the ranch dressing we ordered with it was plain kraft buttermilk ranch in packets, and those packets came on top of the pizzas, inside the box, which, y’know, made them all gross and hot. Lame. Might order again in a year or so to see if they have improved, but not worth near 40 dollars for two meh pizzas.

One day I decided to try their pizza for delivery on eat24 ever since then they are my go to pizza spot for delivery… everything is just fresh and the delivery is always earlier than the usual estimated time. We always order the combo and it’s definitely worth it because it’s still fresh and hot when it gets to your door… the cheese still stretches and they give you a great amount for toppings unlike other pizza joints around here in Oakland whom skimps on their topping and cheese. I definitely recommend it!!! Go try it. Never had their pasta before but hey it’s a pizza joint just go with the pizza :)

I’d give this place zero stars if it were possible. I was hungry for some alfredo. That was my first mistake in choosing Soprano’s. The pasta is tasteless. Literally. It’s worse than the box you buy for 99 cents at a grocery store. The bread it came with is terrible too. Not sure how it’s possible to mess up french bread this bad, but Soprano’s accomplished it. The pizza is on par with the pasta and bread. I’ve had better frozen pizzas. I also ordered a cesar salad with my meal. It came with no dressing, just lettuce and croutons in a plastic box. The only recommendation I have for this place is that you steer far clear of it.

I am always in search of a great pizza joint that provides delicious food AND fast delivery. This place provides both. This is what I highly recommend to get: 1) Mozzarella cheesesticks — they were still hot, crispy and easy to heat in the toaster oven. You won’t be disappointed. 2) Greek salad– The ingredients are just the right balance for me– red onions, feta cheese, black olives with thickly sliced tomatoes. I recommend the balsamic vinaigrette(KRAFT dressing is never my favorite but this one is the better of the bunch). 3) Cheese/Pepperoni pizza — The ingredients and sauce are high quality. I haven’t tried the combo pizza but I will definitely try it again. I gave this location a 5th star because the delivery only took 35 minutes when the expected delivery time was between 45 – 60 minutes. Also, the gentleman who delivered our pizza was very polite and professional. I will definitely be ordering here again in the future. Thanks Soprano’s! You are a winner!

This review is for the pasta only. We haven’t tried the pizza, so it’s possible you’ll have better luck with that. The girlfriend and I were suffering from lazybonitis one evening and jonesing for pasta thanks to Alton Brown on Netflix. Soprano’s seemed like a decent balance between«cheap» and«will deliver to our address.» To their credit, everything was really well-priced and delivery was prompt. The food we ordered was terrible though, and it was obviously not because it was a bad night or anything. The spaghetti and meatballs was very very meh. The meatballs are store-bought frozen ones and look and taste the part. The sauce was very underwhelming. My girlfriend’s chicken fettuccine alfredo looked and tasted pretty bad, and she swears that it was turkey meat and not chicken. In either case, it was obviously store-bought and frozen too. It’s rare that we toss food because we can get through it, but that was the case this evening. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, of course, but those are impossible to screw up. The garlic bread was just okay. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but the quality of the food really merits it.

Pretty darn tasty! I ordered the Stuffed Potato Pizza and it was awesome! The caesar salad was pretty basic and good but they gave you a packet of kraft ranch dressing so :(Thankfully I had my own. Garlic bread is a very small ¼ of a loaf but its garlicy and cheesy and comes with a pretty good marinara. So id say its a pretty soild place all in all!

This is the worst pizza ever. When you reheat it in the oven the cheese basically melts to oil it’s not chewy it’s not real cheese it’s not mozzarella for sure I don’t know what it is but it’s awful. There also is not a lot of sauce and the crust is bland. They serve Kraft packaged salad dressing for their very bad Caesar salad, come on at least make your own salad dressing it’s not hard from Ranch packets either. That Kraft salad dressing in a package is terrible. On a positive note their mozzarella sticks are good(but not with packaged ranch dressing) I made mine in about two minutes and it was great! The jalapeño poppers aren’t the best certainly not as good as of all places Jack-in-the-Box but they sufficed. So sorry I ordered from here and not Zachary’s when I only eat pizza 1 – 2 times a year.

Really enjoyed the pizza, the sauce was good and it was super cheesy! Very affordable and friendly staff. They could use a better drink selection but they had beer and sodas so I’m not complaining

I’ve only gotten delivery from Sopranos so I’ve never actually set foot in the restaurant but if you’re looking for a reliable and consistent pizza delivery with decent pizza, this would be your best bet. The food often arrives faster than expected & the drivers are always friendly and helpful… definitely worthy of a generous tip. I’ve ordered from several different pizza joints around this area and Sopranos is continually one of my first choices.

These guys are great. Not only is the pizza delicious, but the delivery is always dependable. It’s hard to find a punctual delivery service in a larger city like Oakland, but these guys are quick — often early, and the food is always fresh. Consistency is what I like best about this place. They are rather affordable, much more affordable than lower quality pizzerias with slower(and less friendly) delivery staff. Every Sopranos employee I’ve interacted with — either by phone, in person, or on my front porch — has been professional and courteous. There have been situations where a wrong drink was delivered or a topping was missing, but replacements were prompt and hassle free. It’s always a pleasure doing business with Sopranos.

Worst restaurant ever. I ordered fettucini alfredo, they delivered *chicken* fettucini alfredo. I called right away and asked for the correct order and THEYREFUSED! I ordered online so I have a print receipt of exactly what I ordered. THEY made a mistake and they refuse to do anything to fix it. So my husband got dinner and I get nothing. I have never experienced such awful service from a restaurant that made a mistake. I would give it negative stars if I could, they do not care about their customers at all. I have disputed the charge with my bank.

Non meat toppings on combo seemed completely uncooked. This might be a preference for some but is a deal breaker for me. Everything else was just OK. Was much happier with nearby Amazona’s.

I just literally finished my delicious meal from Sopranos. My 4 star goes to their Salad, Pasta and the Cashier/Server .I do however already tried their pizza but since im not a big fan of pizza in general, i don’t think its going to be helpful for me to describe if i like it or not. Im sorry. Let me first say that this place is CLEAN!!! Surprisingly since most pizza place can really be messy but they seemed to manage their cleanliness well enough. Right on! I also like that they have pasta selections here. I tried their spaghetti with marinara sauce + add on meatballs and it def hit the spot! If you are craving for some close-to-authentic-homemade– kind of spaghetti, you will be satisfied. I also like their chef salad, the server was kind enough to throw in bunch of pepperoni and cheese on my salad so thats a plus. ;) The servings are huge too. Im a heavy eater but it was difficult for me to finish the half sized order of the spaghetti. I think it will be good for sharing. The prices are also reasonable. Will be back for their pasta and will try their marsala next time. =) Oh and lastly, I ordered to go. The wait time took about 10 to 15mins.

Five stars for their business model. Three stars on the quality. Let me explain. If you’re desperate and need a pizza, this place has your back if you get to them before 9pm. The prices are very good. For a large pizza(good for 3 people), it’ll set yah back $ 22(after taxes but not including pizza delivery tip). Also, you can order conveniently on-line or with a phone ap. And first time over, took me 2 minutes to submit my order. They got my order for a combination pizza at 8:59pm, a minute before closing. I instantly rec’d an email that my order was processed and although the place closed at 9pm, my order was promised to be delivered to me by 9:35 — 9:55pm. Service delivery was friendly and reliable as they called my cell when the pizza arrived. Pizza was hot and ready to eat. When I tried the combo pizza with roma tomatos, onions, mushrooms, onions, etc etc.(7 toppings), the crust was good. Nothing special, but did the job. Good enough. While I prefer the quality of Amazonna’s, Zacharies, even Blondies in Berkeley and other local pizzerias, BUT, if this place learns to make a pie as good as those establishments, their business model will be super profitable because of how they efficiently manage their orders. All in all, a great pizza delivery experience.
