Unilab Quest Diagnostics

I just went there this morning (Saturday) at 9:30. There were about 6 people in the waiting room and I thought I was going to have to wait a long time but within 5 minutes Jacob was drawing my blood and listening to me talk and talk in order to calm myself because I get nervous when my blood is drawn. Within five minutes the task was done and I was out of Quest Lab and off to eat breakfast because I had to go without food for 12 hours. Not an easy task for me. This is the best lab I have been to, and my third time going there. I highly recommend it.

When I called to make an appointment at this lab, I was told by the receptionist that I should call the lab on 30^th street or the one in Alameda for service because, are you ready, this office was «for Chinese people.» Appauling! I have called Quest several times to complain and have only received a run around. «You need to call the main number to complain» «You need to call the Northern California number to complain.» It is clear to me that Quest is a horrible company and should be avoided!

Historically speaking, I’ve had some issues with Quest Diagnostic (see San Mateo review). However, this Quest is pretty fantastic.
I make an appointment and they send out the confirmation email, and get this — the address is wrong. Yet I’ve been to this Quest three to five times and I always forget this. So that’s my bad. Oops. Alas, I always arrive three to five minutes late. And their clock is four minutes fast so I really look like an asshole at this point.
But everyone there is so nice and friendly. I’m always hungover and missing my insurance card but there’s never an issue. It’s smooth sailing once I walk in the door.
This Quest is also uncharacteristically beautifully designed. The chairs are super comfy and hip looking. They have an accent wall painted lime green. The décor is super great.
I’m definitely a fan. And I’ll never go to another Quest.

Best needle prick I’ve ever had in my entire life. Quick clean efficient. Lime green décor is really cool. All staff speak another language if not more. Cannot say that I look forward to my next prick… but if I had to do another test… I would come back here.

Came in one day as a walk-​in and saw the cattle call in the waiting room and said no way. I was informed by the lovely front desk staff that I could make an appointment for faster service. Smartest thing I did! Got an appointment the next day, arrived 15 minutes early with cash in hand. Left 10 minutes later (seriously, I left before my appointment time!), blood work done and a 30% discount for paying same day.

i had an outstanding order for blood testing from oct. 07. i had experienced numbness in my legs and arms and thought it might be an indicator of some kind of «ministroke». doc says no, it may be an indicator of a vitimin b deficincy.
the usual 4ish friday afternoon walkin. checkin. a wait of about 5 – 10 minutes and the blood sample is taken.
count dracula would be proud of this operation for effcient blood collection.
