Bad service They need to close the place down very rude The lady with the glasses has an attitude problem

I suspect misconduct and possible theft by a postal employee by the name of Tania — Black heavy weight middle age woman with glasses
On August 14, 2014 between 350 pm to 410 pm I shipped an box to new jersey She received the box. I had purchased the postage online. I asked if the postage is sufficient and she casually said it was after weighing the box. It has tracking number.
24 hours after shipping, i checked online and It did not have indication that it was received. Nor when i check at 48 hours or 72 hours or the following week.
Today, August 20, 2014, at 9 am I came to the post office and one of the clerk who said it was sent from 94 602. I asked to speak to Tania. She came back from the back and rudely said.” it was sent from different post office because the zip code was 94 602″ and also told me to check at the «dimond branch» and questioning if I have sent it to a different post office.
I demand to spoke to her supervisor and she just gave me a piece of paper with phone number

If I could give this place a 0 star I would.
The wait is long: came in this past Sat around 9am and had to wait in line for 35 minutes before I could speak to someone. They had only one person working during one of the busiest days of the week (and the year), sorry, it just doesn’t make any sense.
The customer service was terrible: I asked how many stamps comes in a pack, the person answered: you never bought stamps in your life? He was inpatient and in my opinion, very rude.
The office itself is old, dirty, and unsafe: there was trash on the floor inside and outside of the post office. The doors at one side of the building is broke so they used duck tape and a board to hold it together, one word — ghetto. The place also have a funky moldy smell to it.
Overall, not a good experience and will not go back unless I necessary have to.

My neighborhood post office, but I make the effort of never going here. Every time I do, I’m given attitude especially from their Asian employee. She charged me $ 8 for a flat rate $ 5.35 envelope, insisting that the envelope «wasn’t sealed properly». She outright refused to send it if I put my item in another envelope or box.
I also just called the post office for a question. She answered the phone while yelling at other customers. Unprofessional much? I only wanted a phone number and she rudely told me to look it up. I wouldn’t be calling the post office if I didn’t try looking it up.

I had to tell the postal clerk to quit yelling at me through the bullet proof glass.
Was shipping a package internationally and had to convince her that I’m sure the package was addressed right.
My neighborhood post office too but never look forward to going there or dealing with that morning funkiness.

This is my post office, the one packages go to when I’m not home, closest to my place, etc.
It’s deep in the hood — East Oakland.
I’ve never had any problems here. But, it does have the characteristics of a business in the hood. The staff are wary of customers, even with the bullet proof glass, for instance.
No one is terribly friendly or helpful, but so far, i’ve yet to have anyone be outright rude to me, or even see it with other customers. I even saw one woman working there trying her best to help a Spanish speaking customer with his money order. She was really patient and trying hard, although she clearly did not know any Spanish.
All that said, it’s not for the meek and weak of heart. There is always the chance of getting hassled here, like any shop, business, etc in the hood. So, even I pick to do my post office business in the city or Alameda when I’m going over there instead.
No frills here. Like some p. o’s have padded gift envelopes, and tape and nice displays. You don’t see that here. It would unfortunately get stolen here. :(
