Walk-N The Dog

I can’t say enough. These women transformed my dogs. In less than 6 months they are on off leash walks. I never thought they would be good around kids and now we can have company over wo putting the pups in a downstairs location. My dogs love them. We use the team for walks, overnights and training. They are miracle workers!

There are not enough words in my grad school-​level vocabulary (that’s about all the benefit I’ve gained from too many years of education) to express my gratitude for all that Billie Jo and her team have done for me and my dogs. We switched to them after feeling like our last dog walking company was causing the aggressive issues they were reporting with our newly adopted pit bull. Billie Jo’s trainer Roxy is an expert with the breed, so we decided to make the switch and crossed our fingers that our pitty puppy could become a good canine citizen. I can say without hyperbole that choosing Billie Jo’s company was the best decision I’ve made in the past year. Our pitty is a new dog, a truly miraculous transformation. Our cattle dog also greatly appreciates the work Roxy has done, as he now enjoys his time with his little sister and is a happier dog as a result. Billie Jo really saved my doggy family from an unhappy life. To top things off, Billie Jo really knows how to run things well and is a very impressive small business owner. She is always on top of things, responds amazingly to last minute requests, keeps in communication (meaning she actually responds quickly to calls/​notes which I’ve found to be rare with other dog walking companies), and truly knows her stuff. Run, don’t walk, to switch over to Walk-​N The Dog if you’re using anyone else!

Billie Jo is so incredibly conscientious– I trust her completely to care for our menagerie when we go out of town. We have dogs, chickens, horses and a cat and she has the expertise to care for everyone (including some medications that one of dogs gets, weird contraptions to open/​close our chicken coop, mucking a whole paddock of horse manure, etc.). When I leave I have this novel length list of instructions for her and she never even bats an eye. She always follows instructions down to the letter. She is incredibly professional and will call if anything comes up that is at all out of the ordinary. She has never turned me away when I needed to book last minute for a trip and she was even on-​call to come over at a moment’s notice to take care of everyone when I was about to have my first baby. To top it off, her prices are very reasonable. I cannot recommend her more!

Billie Jo and her crew really make a neurotic doggy mama feel safe and secure!!! With their professionalism, knowledge of dogs and love they have done amazing work with my hound. We worried about her being off leash with her little hound nose taking her on a wild chase. We were even turned down by other dog walkers who wanted her recalled trained before they would take her on the trails. Billie Jo was confident that they could recall train her. And they did! Our dog goes out three times a week in the middle of the day and comes back exhausted from all the running and playing! What more could a hound owner ask for? It is not an easy task to wear out a hound dog!

Billie Jo & Danny are like family. They take excellent care of us (Mabel & me that is) and are part of our new California family. Absolutely reliable, absolutely honest, absolutely love my dog nearly as much as I do… Highly recommended!
