The Computer Relationship Therapist! I provide fast, economical, local and sustainable Mac and PC technical support.

Everything from virus and spyware removal to hosted Exchange (Google Apps) solutions, and data recovery. I perform out of warranty repairs on laptops and desktops and can replace screens, hard drives, and can revive your computer with more memory or an SSD drive.

Think of me as your technology resource. You can always contact me with your questions! Please note, we do not take walk in appointments.

History

Established in 2001.

After graduating from UCSC with a BA in psychology I started creating websites and virtual tours for Realtors.

After a year long trip around the world I came back and worked for the Contra Costa Association of Realtors at their help desk.

I then worked as a Technical Support Specialist at LandAmerica Title Company.

After LandAmerica went out of business I began consulting for small businesses and individuals full time.

Don’t look around anymore. Just call Jonathan. My husband and I who both run online businesses moved from Boston to Oakland. After a week doing our work from a laptop and ipad we were anxious to get set up. Jonathan didn’t disappoint. He made time for us immediately and got us all set up in no time flat.
He taught me how to clean up my desktop and keep it organized. Recommended a great backup storage program (and steered me away from a bad solution). And, he helped my hubs puzzle out a problem with moving his huge music collection to his ipod.
Jonathan’s just an all-​around good, honest guy who loves what he does and helping people. He’s excellent at what he does and you can’t ask for more than all that.
Really. Do yourself a favor and call him… now.

I know that I am not the most tech savvy person in the world and I don’t need to be because if I have a problem on my laptop day or night I have Jonathon to call or email and my problems are solved. I can either spend hours wading through instructions and error messages or have him spend minutes solving the problem. He is worth every penny that I have spent on his services. A key consultant!

I’m from NYC, so I was a little scared when I saw that we would be doing business on a folding table in his front yard! The experience turned out to be fabulous, he was really smart and honest and helped save me money.
He is in the process of completely restoring his house on his own. Not only was I happy to have my computer back, and fast, but I enjoyed seeing the fabulous foundation repair, vegetable garden and other projects that he had underway.
Jonathan is learly a forward thinker and a man of many talents. Welcome to the East Bay where some of the best business IS conducted on folding tables. Like, less waste, better living. I love it here. You people are teaching me better ways to live. :-)

My computer was acting a little slow and I kept getting messages that I couldn’t complete my normal updates. Jonathon looked at my computer and immediately figured out what the problem was. He revived my computer from near death, and saved me from having to buy a whole new computer. He also gave me a list of several really easy things I could do to prevent it from happening again. I called Johnathan because my macbook HD decided to crash.
Even though i never rendered services from johnathan i MUST say he is an honest man who did a lot of FREE diagnostic work over the phone with me. He even asked for my macbook serial number and informed me that my warranty was still active!!! Who is THAT honest???

honestly, i haven’ written a Unilocal ever but wishnev consulting has done such a good job for us that i had to write this review. Jonathan first came over to my house to set up my wireless and what i couldn’t do in 3 months, he did in a half an hour. So then I asked him to come to my business to work on my computers at my day spa, Polish on Piedmont and he upgraded my memory, cleaned up my computers, and installed software updates. All of which, i didn’t want to deal with myself. I even referred him to a good client who has already used him! He was very good at recommending what is best for everyone. I trust him and he is a good guy. I will use him as I have other computer needs. Best of all, he got that I am not a computer savvy person and adjusted everything to tailor my needs.
