Sherry and her musicians may have been very talented, however they did not play the correct recessional song for our recent ceremony. I would think 3 songs is not difficult to keep track of, especially since we chose a popular choice. Our chosen song would have been much more energetic and livelier than what was played. Sorry I can’t give the glowing reviews that everyone else gave…
She did apologize and attribute it to a typo but double-​checking would have been nice.

Sherry and An Elegant Touch of Strings string trio performed at our wedding ceremony at Mission Santa Clara. Sherry was a delight to work with all throughout our planning process. She was very responsive, professional, and helpful in selecting our ceremony music. The demos on her website were extra helpful. We just celebrated the marriage of my daughter at Mountain Terrace in Woodside. Sherry provided a string quartet for the event and they did a fabulous job! I was planning the wedding from out of town and so we corresponded by email throughout the planning process. Sherry was always prompt and helpful. She gave us recommendations for musical selections and was willing to play other music that we requested. On the wedding day, she and the other musicians arrived early and were ready to play on time. The music was beautiful and added so much to the ceremony and the cocktail hour. If you are planning a wedding, you should definitely consider adding string music to the event and I highly recommend An Elegant Touch of Strings!

Sherry and Elegant Touch of Strings (ETOS) did a great job at our recent March City Hall wedding. My wife has very specific taste in classical music and didn’t want to have anything too typical played during the ceremony. Instead, she worked with Sherry and ETOS’s musical repertoire to create a beautiful musical accompaniment to our wedding ceremony. During the cocktail hour ETOS played a range of more contemporary pieces (including the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, and Coldplay) and provided the perfect musical pairing to our passed appetizers and adult beverages. We struggled with whether we should go with a quartet or trio, and we decided to go with the trio for economic reasons (it’s a bit cheaper). We were very happy with the trio, though my wife commented that she thought a quartet would have given it a bit of something extra (to be specific, a more rounded sound). I thought the sound was perfectly appropriate and sufficiently impressive. We were very happy we went with ETOS and think they did a fantastic job at our wedding.

An Elegant Touch of Strings played at our April 14 wedding at Casa Real. Sherry was great to work with and was so accommodating when I had asked her to compose «Wonderwall» for our ceremony. Their music was beautiful and I wish that I had had more time to just sit and enjoy everything, Easy to coordinate with and true professionals.

Absolutely wonderful! I hired a trio to play at my wedding ceremony and they were fabulous. Sherry was a delight to work with and was always proactive with details. The trio worked well with the wedding planner and made it a perfect day! I would highly recommend them to everyone!

I wanted to have live music as I walked down the aisle, but I was scared off by the high prices many musicians charge. I was thinking of just using prerecorded music, but then I learned that due to noise laws my venue couldn’t allow amplified music outdoors. With some searching, I found this group which was more affordable and hired a string trio for 2 hours. I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out– since you don’t get to hear the music ahead of time and I wans’t sure how the timing with the processional would work out. My fears were for nothing as everything worked out to plan. I was extremely happy with all aspects of their service. They were easy to keep in touch with and did a great job during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
