Custom Cakes and Kim’s Creations

I really hate to give this one star but I had to. I had called this place 2 times asking if they were available to make a cake for me. I never heard back from either call. I’m very disappointed becasue it was for a special occasion and I wanted a special cake. Long story short this person or company doesn’t really want to work or grow it seem like. I just went to Brentwood Raleys and got a real great looking cake that not only looked good but tasted absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend just going to your local grocery store and order from them. Less stress and you will be happier that everything came out right.

You recently did a Wedding Cake for a friend of mine’s wedding. They did all you asked and in return they recieved unacceptable customer service. You have a GREAT responsibility when providing an ever lasting memory. You didn’t return a number of phone calls till last minute as well as a broken topper which is a keep sake and then tried to place the blame on the venue. Absolutely unacceptable! I would never suggest your business to anyone especially for a SPECIAL occassion!

Let a message and she never got back to me. No way to run a business! It’s all about customer service and word of mouth.

First of all, Kim is absolutely amazing! She is talented beyond words! Kim and I went to high school together and I’ve been stalking her cake creations on Facebook for some time now. I hosted my cousin’s bridal shower and I knew exactly where to go for the cake…“KIMMY!” I talked to her via phone about my vision and she came up with something even more brilliant. Instead of «A Toy Story» (bride’s last name is Toy” she wanted to do «A Love Story.» As you can see, the cake was absolutely gorgeous! It was beautiful on the outside, marble in the inside and just PERFECT for the shower. Everyone, especially the bride-​to-​be LOVED it!

I tried to get in contact on a Tuesday for a birthday cake this Saturday, first I called and left a voice message then I texted because on her message over the phone it had said to text if it was an emergency and needed a cake very soon. I texted and told her all the information and to let me know if she was able to accommodate, NO RESPONSE!!! I called back again Wednesday morning and no pick up.
How are people going to want to support a small business when they ignore possible customers. I would have been pleased with a response saying that she wasn’t able to accommodate my order if she was busy. But nothing.

We have had several cakes made by Kim and she is amazing. What a talented artist and baker! All you have to do is look at the pictures to see her talent, what you cant see is how hard she works to make the cake perfect for you and your event. Also, her business is professional and her cakes have always been on time, delicious and she is so friendly every time you talk with her! I will use her for our next event!

I absolutely loved my baby shower cake. Kim did an amazing job! She really made my vision come to life. And everyone loved it. It was completely gone by the time everyone left. The ordering process was easy, and with everything else being hectic planning a shower, I’m really glad that she made it a smooth process to order this cake.

Kim did an amazing job on our wedding cake! The presentation was simply beautiful and she gave us a good deal as well! The cake tasted good enough, considering we chose vanilla for the cake itself and fondant for the icing because we wanted it to have more of a clean and finished look. We didn’t get to taste any different flavors when we got to sit down with her for our appointment aside from the vanilla we chose, which is probably why we chose it (she did offer to make a chocolate cupcake for me to taste but I would have to come back when she could make it later during the week and being a busy bride didn’t permit me time to come back, it would have been nice to be able to taste a few different flavors but we stuck to vanilla) because we put more weight on how the cake would look versus how it would taste, so the white of the cake and the fondant made it easier. Aside from a few minor details pertaining to the range of choices for flavors and the availability, the cake came out beautiful and we were satisfied. The level of professionalism was adequate and she was sweet in her mannerisms. I’m adding a picture so everyone can see the beautiful cake, it’s the one with the three tiers and the lace pattern with the «R» monogram topper :)

Kim created an awesome Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake was adorable, delicious and ready when promised. I highly recommend Custom Cakes!

The BEST! Kim made my son a Call of Duty themed cake that was out of this world. She was nice enough to make it with a 48 hr notice. Very reasonable on her pricing as well. I have tried many bakers and cake designers. she is the best by far. Our party guest loved the cake design as well as the taste. Its hard to get both design and flavor. Highly recommended! I will be returning for the next birthday cake. Thanks Kim!

Kim is great. My daughter loved her Dora cake. So moist and tasteful. I highly recommend Kim’s Creations to anyone looking for an awesome cake.

Loved my gender reveal cake by Kim! The flavor was really good, and the cake was SO moist. I would definitely have Kim make cakes for me in the future :)

Kims cake’s are so well done and taste so good. She made a high heel shoe cake for my sisters birthday. I wanted the Christian Louboutin black heel, it was amazing. That was all I knew I wanted and left the rest of the design of the cake up to her. She did a great job. Then my son’s birthday was next. We had a 49er party at Tailgaters in Antioch and wanted the cake to match. She did the cake you see in her photos. the cake was a huge hit. Every waiter and waitress in the restaurant wanted to find out where the cake came from. I can honestly say I wouldn’t go any where else for my cakes for special occasions.
