Since the age of 8, Chef Watkins has always been curious of the kitchen. He would constantly ask to help with meals and how to prepare a dish. Little did he know that this would become what he actually loves to do.

Growing up around a family of entrepreneurs and a «Do-​It-​Yourself» atmosphere, Chef Watkins took it upon himself to study the culinary industry without the help of a school or instructors. He always says «If you are taught, you are limited to your creativity in the culinary industry.» Since then he has read countless amounts of culinary books, journals and information available on the web.

He started Delicious Blessings, formerly known as Fortune Catering, with his now wife Theresa Watkins at the young age of 19. They started off making candy and selling to churches. After earning enough money to purchase equipment, they landed their first job with Kaiser Permanente, Antioch for 300 guests. They are still going strong and have only just begun
