Business Owner

For over 29 years Gary Gilbert has worked in the flooring industry with the last 27 years as part owner of Floors, Inc., the largest volume Carpet One dealer in the nation, operating 9 outlets in the Dallas/​Ft. Worth Metroplex. In 2011, Gary moved to Ocala, Florida purchasing the iconic Carpet’s buy Carney location that he owns and operates now.

Customer service has been at the heart of Gary’s philosophy throughout his career in retail flooring. Gary feels «Customer satisfaction is how you grow a business and locally owned, healthy businesses are good for the community.» Gary was committed to retaining the employees of this Ocala flooring and carpet outlet when he took the reigns.

Gary has a BBA from the University of Texas in Arlington with a major in Marketing.
