Emily has been an Environmental Educator and Youth Camp Administrator for the past decade in West Sonoma County. After being a lifeguard herself for seven years she saw a need for well trained Aquatic staff. Emily became an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor in 2012 and has since trained and certified over fifty lifeguards. The need for quality instruction is ever present inspiring Emily to expand her course offerings. Her background in experiential education makes her classes informative and interactive.

The best life guard/​CPR class I have ever taken. Emily is clear in her instruction and thorough in her critiques. She has the ability to make a tough task much easier. I worked with many of the graduates of her instruction and without a seconds hesitation I have seen them save lives. I am a CPR/​First Aid and Wilderness Fist Aide Instructor, have an EMT and have taken many combat medical classes. After all that, I can tell you that Emily is the best teacher of life-​saving skills that I have ever had.
