Our programs are designed to benefit those interested in learning natural healing for themselves and those interested in pursuing a career in Professional Herbalism. We offer classes in herbal medicine, nutrition, aromatherapy, and energy healing as well as workshops in Feng Shui, Crystal Healing and Medicine Making.

To insure a minimum level of professional training in this field, Self-​Heal School offers a certificate program, as well as advanced studies in materia medica and clinical training.

Our graduates enjoy rewarding careers in clinical herbalism, making herbal medicines and products, owning and managing herb shops, wildcrafting and selling herbs, teaching, consulting, and other positions in the fast-​growing herbal industry.

In addition to our classes and other school programs, we offer Holistic Health Consultations, Energy Healings, and Aura Readings at our holistic clinic and with Clinic Supervisor, Jane Richmond.

History

Established in 1985.

We began teaching holistic healing to address the needs of our community. Since then, we’ve educated thousands of students and graduated hundreds of professional herbalists. Our programs have expanded to include extensive training in Aromatherapy and Energy and Crystal Healing.

Meet the Business Owner

Jane Richnmond and John F.

Business Owner

Jane Richmond has been enjoying creating healing spaces for people on their path to wholeness through her classes in herbs, nutrition, prosperity consciousness and energy healing, as well as her through her writing, hosting annual women’s retreats and in her private clinical practice. She also supervises the Self-​Heal Holistic Herbal Clinic.

John Finch has been studying and using herbs for more than thirty years. He writes for publication and has been a guest on radio and TV presentations. A gifted teacher with more than twenty five years in adult education, John teaches herbal medicine, holistic nutrition and dietary supplements at local massage colleges, as well as Self-​Heal School. He has practiced inner attunement for four decades and also teaches shamanism and self-​discovery. Possessing an abiding passion for the spirit and essence of plants, John enjoys bringing herbs to life in the classroom as well as leading herb identification walks in local canyons and mountains.
