Established in 2011.

Owner Ione Talese always knew she had a soap «problem «!. Beautiful handmade soaps & lotions that are little works of art, were always a passion for her to find. Whether on a vacation or business trip for her furniture business there was always a stop to a local soap store. When she decided to make a career switch it was an easy one. At Atisan Body she brings together over 12 talented & Passionate soapmakers and other well known manufacturers to her downtown Ocean City NJ store.

Ione Talese — Owner/​Operator had spent almost 3 decades in the painted furniture business — Super Storm «Sandy «brought that career to an end she followed her passion for handmade soaps & artisan body products. Opening her store in 2012 in Downtown Ocean City New Jersey where she lives with her husband George & her two girls, Ciara & Liza.
