Fat Daddys Subs Pizza Wings

While the food was fine, their pricing practices are very deceiving. It was $ 65 for 4 of us (2 kids) for lunch because nearly every item on the menu rang up for more than the price on the menu. We also asks for 2 sodas and 2 waters and they automatically charged us for 2 bottles of water vs tap water, and then they only gave them 2 us after we got our order and asked for a receipt that showed the 2 bottles of water. They also charge for refills:(

Overpriced Underwhelming. For all the «remodeling» that was suppose to have happened, the dining area is not thought out very well. We stopped in for lunch, hard to mess up a submarine sandwich but do they have to charge you for every topping? I can seriously buy a better meal at a chain restaurant and eat my meal on real plates. The only people eating here are the tourists and I can’t swear if any of them are returning costumers. I don’t even remember if the food was good or not because I was so preoccupied by the feeling that I had somehow just gotten scammed.

Service was exceptionally poor and my friends pizza had a long piece of hair in it… disgusting! !!!

Friendly staff and clean place. The Cubano is amazing. If I had the appetite I would have left and walked back in and ordered another!

I originally posted the review below 23 days ago, but at the wrong Fat Daddy’s location. I’ve never been to the one on 83^rd.
«My bro & I ordered Fat Daddy’s fried tonight and it was SLAMMIN. We’re local and tugos is just as close but their pizza is ass so we decided to try elsewhere, got a cheese pizza & breadsticks at fat daddy’s and they did not disappoint. The sauce is tasty af. Everything about the pizza was on point, but the real winner
here was the breadsticks, coming in as the underdog. Definitely recommend this place. Only this place.

Since then I’ve ordered two more times, delivery also, and have been more than pleased with the food. The service was much better both times & delivery was quick under 40 mins. ALSO, had a caesar salad: the romaine was the best I’ve ever had, so fresh and sweet. I never knew lettuce could have a taste.
Needless to say, I’m making it a five star rating now.

Excellent place for a late night snack groovy tunes and high quality «Boardwalk Food» makes for the perfect spot for comfort food after a night out.

Just ordered food with the family on vacation.
We ordered for carry out, large pizza philly cheese steak chicken philly and a Greek salad. All of which are amazing!
We ordered a dr pepper but they never put it in the bag, so I called and they delivered it to our house in 30 seconds.

A friend recommended this place so I gave it a try, employees were friendly! I ordered a aloha burger to go, I headed over to the beach and started eating my burger, It was great until my third bite, I pulled the burger away thinking it was cheese, NO!!! I realized it was a huge hair tangle up in between the cheese and the meat! Definitely not a good experience as I had to throw away pretty much the whole thing!

I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of customer satisfaction.

This place is way overrated! Self order no waitstaff they csll your name to pick up your own food and have the audacity to have spot for gratuity on the check when you pay! Ordered 4 simple meals they screwed up 3 of them which were all salads!!! First n last visit EV ER! !

Purely based on my friends opinion and frequency of visiting this place. I’ve had their Fat Veggie Sub! Its too die for… and I mean literally and figuratively!
Onion rings, french fries and a patty in a burger with mayooooooooooo,…all combined into 1 sandwich is a recipe for a pot belly pig!

I love Fat Daddy’s and absolutely have to come here every time I’m in Ocean City. My only issue is that it’s not closer to me, and I can’t go more often. My usual go-​to is the steak & cheese, and it’s worth the year long wait.
For their subs/​burgers, you’re able to choose toppings from a list rather than just taking it as it comes. 1 cheese and 2 vegetable toppings, or you could get more for a fee. From what I understand, their pizza is pretty good too.
The interior has been revamped from the old, sort of grungy, writing-​all-​over-​the-​walls décor it used to have. It was festive in it’s own way, and never bothered me, but now it has a much more refined feel. The walls have a fresh coat of paint, there’s new lighting fixtures, and it’s brighter and airier with the new layout. Definitely a huge step up!

The food was okay, not bad. I have had better pizza. The service was not that great. When you walk in no one greets you. If you don’t ask, you wouldn’t know that you have to order at the counter.

Food was so so, not sure it was worth the price. No free refills on drinks, and a cup of water is 50 cents. They don’t even put salt and pepper on the tables. Fat Daddy IPA was good though

Pretty disappointing… we were all set for a delicious pizza and or subs and wings at Fat Daddy’s. As we walked in, we were told their pizza oven was down so no pizza. OK, so we decided on subs and wings. We were then told the subs would only have two toppings and we couldn’t get the flavors of wings that we wanted (BTW, we only wanted ten wings in BBQ and the other ten wings in Chipotle BBQ). Finally, the wait staff was somewhat rude.
Since Fat Daddy’s is in the business of saying no to their customers, we said no to giving them our business and left.

If you want food in your mouth they have food. But best if you come in drunk (though they have beer)
In all fairness… We say this because for $ 27 a cold turkey sandwich on kaiser (chips may be extra) a half full Greek salad (lettuce may the cheapest thing to fluff a salad) and one beer.
Just go to Wawa.

Stopped by here with the family to get the kids some pizza and decided to put in an order of wings between the wife and eye to share and went with old bay seasoned. Wow, great wings. Old bay can be easily overpowering, but they seasoned the wings just right and they fried them perfectly. Wife and I were licking our fingers wondering if we should order more…

After over a decade of drunken 3 am cheesesteaks drenched in mayo I was recently horrified to find out that Fat Daddy’s has been completely remodeled. It’s well lit, clean, the booths are comfortable and the person who took my order at the counter seemed to speak English as a first language. WTF? This is completely unacceptable and not what I want for a late night greasy spoon during an OCMD vacation. So sad.
