While I would love to give this place a glowing review, I am unable to do so. I thought the website, the pics of the rooms, etc. all looked great and I was very interested in staying at the B & B. I didn’t have a chance to call via phone, but in my experience most owners will respond to your e-mails concerning a possible reservation. Furthermore, they usually respond within 2 hours max, especially if it’s a last minute reservation. I have a way to see if my e-mail has been viewed and according to my record, my email was viewed 7 times in the last 23 hours, but only received a response 3 hours ago. Please correct if I am wrong, but that’s just bad business. And that place was eclectic, different, unique — totally my kind of place. What a shame!

This eclectic Bed and Breakfast is one of the best kept secrets in Ocean City! Our family has stayed here several times over the years. The easy going relaxed atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. The rooms are decorated by artist/innkeeper Sharon with a whimsical flair that never disappoints! Sharon and her husband John own and run this B&B. They are always relaxed, friendly, warm & welcoming. Sharon and John now own the café(Positively 4th Street) downstairs where breakfast is included with your stay. Homemade scones, sticky buns, granola, etc. are a great way to start each day! This busy café is a hub for the Ocean City locals in the morning! There is always a line, but it is worth the wait! And don’t stop at breakfast! The café also serves lunch and dinner! Sharon is an excellent chef! Dinner at Positively 4th Street is not to be missed! We will return to the Inn at Laurel Bay again and again!

My wife and I stayed here on a visit from San Franciso. It is a lovely B&B in OC, NJ. The owners John and Sharon are very friendly and warm. The rooms all have their own unique character. We stayed in a room with a handpaited forest motif. It has a lovely deck that surrounds the house, which gets loads of sun. Breakfast consists of scones and muffins from café underneath the B&B and coffee, OJ. We’ll stay there again if we are ever back in the neighbourhood.
