Got the cutest pedicure with wonderful customer service at a great price! Had a fun conversation. The environment is so stress free, no haggling not upselling. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. I do plan on going back!

Spa time in the neighborhood. If you live downtown and want a personal spot this is it. Vivian does a great job with my gel pedicure. Likes to know how exactly you want your nails so she can delivery that. There are other spots for groups this is just her usually but worth the appointment. I would love to have my hands down by her when I have the extra cash.

ARROGANT — CONDESCENDING — RUDE — INCOMPETENT
I’m writing this primarily to the OWNERS to inform them of the behavior that I received yesterday at 1:00 pm from their ‘manager’, a very beautiful lady — on the outside.
I just moved to the area and recently opened a pediatric center and also served yesterday as a chamber of commerce member on the TEAM TRUMP campaign. ‘Just to establish my credibility as a professional, community service person. Perhaps the ‘manager’ thought I was not worthy of her service yesterday and that it was appropriate to treat me so lowly, since I walked in the place in a pair of sweats and ponytails…
I called to make an appointment for a pedi/​mani acrylics and a full set of lashes.
From the moment I walked in, the manger portrayed this unbelievable, poor attitude towards me. Later during our 10 minute ‘debate’ regarding the services she could and could not do for me, I asked her why she had such a bad attitude as a public servicer. She told me that I could leave if I didn’t like it — which I did, but not before letting her know that I found the business on Unilocal and hoped to become a weekly customer because of the convenient, walking location.
The only useful thing I noticed when I walked in, was that she was very enthusiastic and friendly towards the other ‘new’ lady who was just leaving, very strongly telling her to write a review on Unilocal on the service she just rendered — even to the point of helping the lady install the Unilocal app and to create an account.
I walked out telling the manger who is beautiful on the outside, but despicable on the inside, that I too would be writing a review on Unilocal.
I feel sorry for the owner’s who don’t have a clue how their business is being represented. If I treated my patients/​clients in this manner, I would have none. If I found my employees treating ANYONE in this manner (at work or otherwise), I would replace them immediately.
I found an amazing place to get my services done. ‘Wonderful, professional and friendly atmosphere.

Vivian is amazing. My pedicure was perfect and felt baby soft. Great value for the price! I like the small salon not crowded, nice and quite :)

Loved this place! I’m new to Oceanside and was looking for a good nail salon. I read others reviews and thought I’d check it out. Vivian was amazing and she was so great to talk to. She did a great job on both my manicure and pedicure. I’m definitely going to be coming here for my regular Mani/​pedis!

This was hands down the WORST nail place I have EVER been to, to the point that I walked out after only 5 mins of being in there! I walked in and it felt dirty for one and the lady was very rude. I asked her to fix a nail (something I’ve had done many times) and she began getting very snappy to me. They also had very very limited colors, and if you don’t like pink or red don’t plan to be happy. To continue she put my hand in a dirty bowl of acid tone and wouldn’t allow me to remove my wedding ring… Then to remove the gel she kept aggressively trying to get my hand to relax after I was already over this experience. She left me to attend to another client and that is when I walked out. I will never go here again or ever suggest it… This is I think, a ratchet, if I may use that word, unfriendly, unprofessional business, and poor excuse for a nail salon…

First time customer. New to Oceanside. This’ll be my mani/​pedi haven. I had a wonderful pedicure and got my shaggy eyebrows waxed. Vivian was so lovely, warm and friendly and did any awesome job on my feet! ~ Bonnie

I have been going to Beyond nails and Spa for many years. This is a little hidden jewel. I’ve lived in Oceanside for a long time and this by far is the best place for the quality and money.
Vivian is the owner and technician and does an amazing job. Nails and waxing she has you covered. Gels to acrylic, mani and pedi you’ll walk away feeling and looking great!!!

This is a long one but hopefully you all find this information helpful!
I would recommend Vivian and her shop to anyone looking for a quick, inexpensive, quality manicure. I have gotten Shellac manicures over 5 times from Vivian and I swear each time they last longer than the time before — they never chip or fray, I just eventually have to go back in because of the growth. I have great conversations with Vivian every time I come in and highly recommend that you support this honest, reasonable and hard-​working business owner. Furthermore, she is even willing to open the shop on her day off if you have a last minute emergency (wedding, last minute party, etc.) and really need her. Vivian seriously goes above and beyond the call of duty.
I’ve seen a few reviews that say the owner is rude or the shop doesn’t look nice, but I think they might not understand that Vivian is often the only person working (most of their business is walk-​in and there just isn’t enough traffic to merit more than 1 – 2 people working at a time). Vivian may be to the point in order to not waste your time or hers, but I have never seen her say anything even close to rude to either myself or any other customers who happen to walk in while she’s helping me. As for the shop, if you want fancy surroundings go elsewhere, but stay if you want a quality manicure. The shop may not be the trendiest of places, but it is clean and well kept. That’s enough for me.
One last thing — if you walk in and Vivian is busy with another customer, she may tell you to come back in about half an hour or whenever she will be done with her current client. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SIMPLY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE TIME SHE SUGGESTS YOU COME BACK. If you do not make an appointment and someone else happens to stop in after Vivian is done but before you make it back, she is going to take that client. I’ve seen a few customers get a little huffy about this but hey, that’s how walk-​ins work and she has no guarantee that you’re coming back anyways. Just make an appointment and there will be no issues.

Vivian was awesome; very professional; did an amazing job on my gel mani on my very short brittle hard to work on nails. I made an appointment prior & was taken right on time.

Wow. I WISH I lived here and not LA this would be my nail salon. The lady who owns this shop did my nails and was so friendly and professional, we had good conversation and talked about a nail design I wanted that was complicated. She did the design on one nail to ensure I was 100% happy with it before she progressed forward. She is a very honest person and pays extreme attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Today was my first pedicure at the salon. My nail technician was Vivian. She did an amazing job. She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be coming back for a manicure and to have my eyebrows waxed. Thanks for the great service!

My first time visiting this salon (looking for a new one since it’s close by to my new home) Walked in to see if I could get a fill or quick polish change and there was only one other woman finishing up being worked on. I asked the woman working if there was an availability today or if I could come back later if I made an appointment. (it only being 5pm and they close at 7pm) and she looked me up and down and flat out said, «umm, no. Try somewhere else.» I felt it was said in a rude tone and I will not return here. Definitely try to have better customer service and be polite to walk ins. (Prices seemed reasonable and easy parking access but you’ll be getting your nails done practically in the dark by rude staff!)

This is my second time here and I love it. I got a pedicure about a month ago and it’s lasted so long! I needed major care for my short stubby nails and she managed to give them a great gel manicure! Service is wonderful and fun and the quality is exceptional! Ask for Vivian!

Just got a Gel french Tip manicure and it came out great, would definitely recommend this place to anyone, Vivian was very nice and welcoming, best manicure ive had yet and ive had plenty, will come here again in the future :)

I love this place! The staff are very friendly and they go out of their way to give you exactly what you’ve asked for. I have been going to Vivian for several years now and you cannot find a more professional and sweeter woman. She is a perfectionist and my hands and feet look amazing after every visit.
