Dr. Bloxton is truly a great chiropractor. I’ve been to 6 other chiropractors over my life who are wonderful people but none of them take the time nor put in the energy pre adjustment that Dr. Bloxton does. Yes, the appointment takes a bit longer but the results last longer as well. He also charges the same as the chiropractors who get you in and out in less than ten minutes! Better service, more know how… I highly recommend him.

My father and I had gone to Dr. Bloxton back in the ‘90s and he took great care of us. I recently had some back pain, so the first thing that came to mind was to go see Dr. Blox.
He has a new location, and its really nice. Ive only had 2 visits and am feeling better already.
My Kaiser insurance policy does not cover chiropractic care, but he gave me a great price for multiple treatments.

Great Chiropractor. I have been seeing him twice monthly for over 6 months. I used to get migraines every day and it has decreased them massively and also just helped with general stiffness and aches, and flexibility. Very professional, just moved into a nicer office, easy to find and relaxing, comfortable environment with music and candles and the like.
Good for anyone wary of doctors of any sort. Appreciates his clients, and most importantly, is good at what he does. Has made a big difference in my life.

Dr. Bloxton is wonderful! He’s given me hope that the frozen shoulder I’ve been dealing with for 6 months will improve. I’ve seen a medical doctor, 2 Chiropractors and had 6 weeks of physical therapy for this, but nothing has made much difference. He took more time to assess my situation than the others and is working with me doing some manual and electrical stimulation and stretching; also encouraging home exercises. He seems to really know his stuff. I look forward to improving my range of motion and lessening my pain.

Wow it is really rare that a chiropractor would also be very knowledgeable about other healing modalities, especially companion healing arts like massage therapy and physical therapy. On my initial visit with him, he did some massage as well as heat therapy and adjustment. He took his time and explained everything, which I really appreciate. Also for the first time, I feel like i have a game plan about my condition, especially my frozen shoulder, which has given me pain and immobility for months. Thank you Dr. Bloxton!

I can only say good things about Dr. Bloxton! He takes the time to make sure your muscles are ready for the adjustments needed prior to actually performing the adjustments. And he’s even got one of those tables that bends you at the waste to help him really stretch you!

This is not one of those assembly line, one treatment fits all patients, chiropractic mills. Dr. B treats your individual symptoms and specific neck and back issues. You also receive a short but very effective back/​neck massage prior to treatment, which allows your muscles to relax and not fight the adjustment.
The other thing I enjoy about Dr. B is his no nonsense approach to discussing your symptoms and treatment. That may not be for everyone, but I appreciate the truth vs. having sunshine blown up my… well, you get the picture.
Picking a chiropractor is a personal choice, and I have been seeing chiro’s for 30 years — good, bad, and otherwise. They’re all different, and all have different approaches. I’ve learned that it takes three visits to truly rate a chiropractor. So, my advice regarding Bloxton Chiropractic would be: If you want effective treatment, timely appointments that are not dragged out for no apparent reason, and appreciate a no b.s. approach, give Dr. B a try. After three appointments, I’m guessing you’ll keep coming back.

3 years ago I was surfing on a Sunday and I hurt my back. I couldn’t even bend over, I was in so much pain. I decided to seek out chiropractic therapy. I looked up chiropractors in Oceanside where I live. I called about a half dozen places none of which were open. I finally was able to reach someone, that someone was Dr. Bloxton. I told him my situation, and he happen to be close that day too, but on his day off he said can you be at my office in 20 minutes, I answered yes. Which show me he cared. I was a little skeptical of the chiropractor, I was in so much pain that day he didn’t even crack me or adjust me, he put me on electrical stimulation and gave me a 10 min, deep tissue massage. I have had 10 years of back problems, and I feel like Dr. Bloxton healed me. He’s not just a normal chiropractor, he really evaluates issues and address is an as needed. He is not just your average chiropractor he goes over and beyond. He doesn’t just lay you down unrelaxed and adjust you. He lays you down for a couple of minutes with relaxing music and he leaves the room while heating up massage oil. Comes back in the room and gives you the most amazing 8 to 10 minute massage, stretches your back, and then I just you know whole process takes about 15 – 20 minutes. If you’re a surfer and do heavy labor like I do, this is your guy. If you have Kaiser it’s only $ 10 co-​pay. And all honesty this guys made my life a lot nicer. Less painful and more enjoyable. Having lower back problem for almost a year. Lots of pain medications
Physiotherapy and all kind of different workouts. Nothing seemed to work until I found dr Bloxton. After only a few treatment I feel so much better. now I feel cheated that I waited that long He is not only a chiropractor, he is a professor in chiropractic school. I really recommend him. I have been coming here the last few months and I have to say I am blown away by the service Dr. Bloxton provides. He provides an accurate diagnosis for the treatment needed and adjusts accordingly. This is nothing like the joint or other quick back crack places. He takes his time focusing on the muscles surrounding the area, using electrical therapy as well as heat too loosen up the muscles and provide lasting relief. The massage with bio freeze before the adjustment is always very relaxing, and of course the adjustment is the cherry on top. I have noticed a definite improvement in my posture and sleep as well as overall health since I started visiting Dr. Bloxton. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I am a registered nurse and I suffer from a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease. Exacerbations cause significant joint pain, fatigue, muscle aches, and intermittently through the past several years… terrifying cranial nerve palsies.
Most recently, I was faced with frozen shoulder so badly that the only option was surgery. Being against surgery and most of the toxic medication they prescribe, I went to Dr. Bloxton for help. He told me rehabilitation would be a painful process but he could get my shoulder working again. The Orthopedic doctor assigned to my case snubbed his nose because mobility and range-​of-​motion was so limited he assured me that I would be back for surgery. Well, Dr. Bloxton was right. He worked tirelessly, often through my tears of pain, that over a period of months I began to get my range-​of-​motion back.
I am happy to report that I am 100% recovered with little residual. I did go back to that orthopedist just to let him know what Dr. Bloxton did for me and that he was wrong to snub his nose at «chiropractic care.»
I prefer the alternative and natural care that Dr. Bloxton provides. My condition has medical doctors prescribing not only prednisone, but also immune modulators which lower the immune system so my body doesn’t attack itself (Yikes, you all have probably heard the side effects of this medication on the tele). Also, they are so quick to prescribe Norco for pain, and Ativan for anxiety… both highly addictive so if my medical condition wasn’t enough… they would turn me eventually into an addict… adding one more thing to my medical problem list.
When I have exacerbations, Dr. Bloxton has gotten me through the lows with other treatment modalities such as heat or cold therapy, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and massage therapy. I will tell you that Dr. Bloxton, without sounding cliché…saved my life. My quality-​of-​life has increased and the amount of toxic medications I have to take has decreased. What more could I want in a medical provider.

Every time I need adjustment for my on going back and neck pain he is always there and also can talk football. Very good doctor.

I decided to call the nearest Chiropractor’s office from my house. I scheduled an appointment @ Bloxton’s office and he treated me for my back pain with a massage and an adjustment. He was very friendly also professional and knew exactly how to treat my pain. Now, I feel great and I have recommended him to my family and friends!!!

Due to climbing poles and connecting cable lines, I began having back issues to the point I couldn’t bend down to even stretch or pick anything up. My wife seen me in pain everyday and she made an appointment for me to Bloxton’s office. He was very friendly and professional. He first gave me a massage and an adjustment that quickly relieved me of pain. For three years now I have been going to Bloxton’s office. I have recommended him to my family and friends.

I wouldn’t say that Dr. B has a cuddly personality but he knows what he’s talking about and he has a good sense of humor. Ultimately I place more importance on his knowledge than his personality.
I met the man at church after my wife and I were in a car accident that left us both with severe whiplash and after the service one day, he told me to come in and let him take a look at it. I was skeptical at first, I hadn’t had much experience with a Chiropractor before and I had assumed that they just crack your back. So my wife and I came to him a week later for an appointment and found the office to be very clean. We were pleasantly surprised to see that his two daughters and their mother sitting at the front desk waiting to check us in. The very fact that this business is so family oriented makes it much better than a typical Dr.‘s office.
While we filled out our in-​patient forms, his eldest daughter supplied us with entertaining banter about how she was so excited to start high school. The Doc came out to take us back to the room which was also very clean and hygienic. He sat us down to discuss what our symptoms were, how severe they were, and what our daily life was like. We then discussed what he had to suggest for our treatment; surprisingly it was reasonable and possible. After a thorough interview, we both received a treatment. It had a wonderful massage and definitely gave us relief. At the end of the appointment he followed us out to the waiting room and his daughters joined into our conversation for a bit. Turns out that Dr. B is a really cool guy; he rides a Harley and plays in a band on his off time, and that they were playing for a church event. We then rescheduled and went on our merry way.
Until the next morning.
The next morning I was really sore, as was my wife so we called the Dr. and let him know. He said that it was natural to have some soreness at first because Chiropractic healing is just like exercising or dieting, if you don’t do it consistently then you’re not going to see results. Have you ever been sore after working out for the first time in a while?
And sure enough, after about 4 visits my wife and I were feeling great! We now get treatment once a week. You don’t have to be rich to get treatment on a regular basis either. Dr. B’s pricing is very reasonable, down to $ 35 a visit for specific plans.
Dr. B is a good man, a God-​fearing man, and my wife and I won’t ever go to another chiropractor again!
