City Cleaners

I brought in my comforter on Wednesday, and was told it would be ready next day after 5pm. I returned on Thursday after 5, and my comforter was not ready. Manager told me it would be ready the next day. She was working on an alternation instead. If I could give this place a minus star, I would have. Will not be returning.

Lou and her husband is the best! Lou runs this shop not just as a business but she cares a lot for her customers. I recently lost my mom and I found she kept my wedding dress for 21 years among her belongings. However, it was all stained and discolored. I brought it to Lou and told her to try cleaning it but I was not very optimistic due to the amount of stain on all four layers of the dress. Her husband labored for more than five hours to treat the stains and dry clean the four layers of satin, chiffon, hand sewn lace and beads. When I picked it up I was so amazed that it looked like new again. I’m so thankful for the great job they did and she didn’t even charge me that much considering the five hours her husband spent to clear out all the stains. Now my daughters have an heirloom piece saved by Lou and her husband. Thank you so much City Cleaners for taking care of a precious piece left by my mom.

Friendly lady there that I trust with a lot of my alterations, which is rare around Oceanside. I hope they’re still around?
The shop is small, but used to be near where I work, so it was very convenient!

Great price and one day service available! Also got lot of my nice jeans fixed for $ 14 original and it looks fantastic! Thanks to the nice lady:)

If you could give a zero that is what they deserve. It is one thing to lose my clothes more then 2 times. then to tell me it is my job to track what is dropped off and picked up is a joke. They take no responsibility for your belongings it is your responsibility to take pictures of what you leave and pick up. What happened to serving the customer and who has my suit pants and shirts??? Don’t trust these guys with your clothes.

Don’t take your military uniforms here. They don’t know the proper regulations.

Prices are reasonable and you now can earn points towards a deduction off a future dry cleaning service.
I guess I go there often when she recognizes that you have some stuff ready that your brother brought in. The funny thing is, I don’t go that often. lol Oh well, nonetheless, its good to finally had a dry cleaners that you can rely on… as of this date these are the prices that I’ve found for dry cleaning:
Shorts and pants: $ 3.95
Coat/​Jacket: $ 5.25
Vest: $ 4.50
Sweaters: $ 4.75−4.95
¾ coat: $ 13.95
scarf: $ 4.15
button up/​shirt: $ 4.25
Although I wish they were opened on sundays, but thats a rarity in this business… I’d recommend this place to anyone. They are also fairly quick with their dry cleaning if you need it sooner…
