Econo Lube N Tune – Oceanside

Been coming here with my past 3 cars and my friends bring their cars too!
Great service, quick, efficient and know their stuff! Prices are far better than I’ve got elsewhere in the past.

Cheaters and liars!!! Will ruin your car and lie that they ever worked on it! If you do take your chances, make sure you get a report to prove work was done. They are scamming the franchise. Don’t trust them!

I have never had such a good experience at a quick Lube spot. Randy was so helpful, had great knowledge and did not try to overcharge or sell me anything more than what I came for. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. I was in and out on the day before Thanksgiving, what a blessing! Thanks Randy, I will definitely refer my peeps to you. Frankly because you aren’t looking for it, but that you genuinely want to help.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Randy! We failed smog twice and went to this station to see about getting the car fixed. Instead Randy used his handheld device (for free) to help us get all the smog monitor signals to work. It took three check-​ups from his device before it registered successful. I will definitely use their services again. Great service, nice people and very honest — I appreciate that they did not take advantage of my pocket book.

Walked in this morning, my sensor on car was stating I was low on oil and I needed a smog check. Walked was greeted by Randy, very nice guy. He told me to pull in and pop my trunk, did so he check and said I did not need a oil change. He topped my car off (no charge!) which we know people don’t do things for free. Sadly his smog machine was down. But gave me a referral. Will defiantly be back for oil changes when I need them!

These guys are the best. I’ve been coming here almost exclusively for just about all my auto needs for the past 7 years. Randy and the guys really take care of me and my car and are very honest. My girlfriend has now been converted to use them as well after the awesome service they gave her car. These guys are fantastic!

I still love this place. I am back in for another oil change, on a different car this time. I cheated on Econo with Jiffy Lube last time because it was more convenient to my house, and I will never do that again. They tried to upsell me and BS me, and Randy at Econo would never do that.
Not only did I call and check to see if there was a wait (there was not) but the guy that answered let me know that they are running a special on Synthetic right now. What a nice change, instead of the jerks at Jiffy charging full price, and then pretending that they don’t know if there’s any coupons available online, and then when you find the coupon, they find all kinds of reasons to say they’re not valid.
I am not having to jump through hoops, Randy let me know the WiFi password right away as I clearly need to get shit done while I wait… great experience. I will actually NEVER go anywhere else for oil changes from now on. Even if I have to drive back over to my old hood and go an extra 2 miles, it’s worth it, obviously. Not just the service but also the cost…

This place must be under new management, as the older awful reviews certainly no longer apply.
Excellent and knowledgeable staff. I like to perform much of my own basic maintenance, but in lacking a garage, I had to outsource for a bit, and with this garage, it was a pleasant experience. The front desk was cordial, concise, and even applied a little humor.
Whether working my girlfriend’s 2010 Mazda or my 1985 K10, they had no problem getting us in, doing quality service, and getting us out faster than anywhere else could quote for an appointment.
During our short wait during our first visit, the manager calmly walked over with a spent air filter from the car, so my girlfriend could see evidence that another was needed. Simple enough, but where else do you get confirmation like that?
All around, very fast, very polite, very accommodating. I did not expect the extent of straight forwardness received, and courteous. I wish every area had a garage this great.

Randy and George are no joke. These guys take serious pride in their work and are very, very customer oriented. The price is great, but it’s the service that will get you. Randy checked out my wife’s brakes for no charge. Literally took off the tires and inspected them! THEN, I had my truck’s oil changed and barely got my computer on and did a few things to kill time before my truck was ready! LOL, amazing.
I am stoked to have this kind of service in Oceanside. Huge mahalo to Randy and George!

I live right down the street and always drive by here. I ended up looking these guys up on Unilocal and decided to use their services.
When I drove up and parked I was immediately greeted by the manager, Randy. I was skeptical at first because I really don’t trust random people to touch my car or give me advice. Once we got to talking about my specific vehicle (2011 Infiniti G37S) I started to feel comfortable that he knew what type of oil it took and he was also very knowledgable about all of his product he was selling me. I then asked how long it would take, Randy stated twenty minutes. I went next door to the dinner (which was an A+ lunch!!) and had a bite to eat. Before I was even done with my lunch they were finished. I inspected my hood, all paint, interior, for dirty oil spots and found my car clean just how I left it. I then checked oil & oil level and everything was exceptional.
My hat is off to you Randy for running a good company. I highly recommend anyone to use their services. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Excellent service. Went in got my oil changed and tires rotated for the best deal I’ve seen to date. Took roughly about 20 minutes out of my day for the entire service, not to mention I asked for my tires to be rotated 10 minutes after they started on my oil change. Ask for Randy when you go in, extremely professional and very fair with pricing. Absolutely happy with the services provided.

We were in Oceanside for the triathlon and just after the race I noticed a major oil leap developed. I called this place because they were open a bit later than others and they said they had no wait. I was glad I came here. They found the pinhole leak in a hose buried in the engine and we were lucky that they had a suitable replacement hose in stock — otherwise I would have been stuck waiting for Lexus service for at least 2 days! The guys here are very friendly and seem knowledgeable and straight forward. The price was reasonable and they even stayed past closing to make sure it got done because they knew I was driving home (500 mile trip) the next morning. While I hope to never have car trouble in Oceanside again, if I lived in the area, these guys would definitely get my regular business. Highly recommended.

BEST service ever! Had an extremely over due oil change and even more over due transmission flush, and I am so happy with the competitive prices and incredible customer service! Not only that, we were in and out so quick! The mechanic was top notch! Go here for all of your auto needs!

Took my car here to get the brakes repaired awhile ago after jiffy lube gave me a ridiculous quote, gave them the quote and they basically took the. cost of that and cut it in half. They definitely treat your car as if it’s there own. Good business. I drive a VW so they always use the Audi German auto parts on my car and get them shipped specifically for your car.

Great experience! 20 minute oil change (while other companies told me 4 hours) and very friendly staff. The mechanic even took the time to show me my old air filter (something I appreciated as a woman, usually having mechanics recommend things I don’t understand).
All around great!

These guys are great! Came in for a simple oil change and the guy at the desk offered to check my alternator and a few other items in the car without any hassle. Great dudes!
