Worse hotel and service ever! I booked a «2» room suite that looked all nice and beautiful in the pictures but once I arrived I was horrified! The two room was anything but. It was one room with a queen bed and a closet with a full bed jammed wall to wall with only 2 feet of room at the foot of it. No night stand or anything just a bed and 4 walls. The rooms were musty and stale smoke smelling. And looked exactly how one would imagine a crack house looking and smelling… Ever seen breaking bad? I think they might have filmed some shots there! It was that bad! Now I understand we are in Cali but walking up to my room I could smell nothing but pot. That’s real great when your with your mother and little sister… On top of all that, no smoke detector anywhere, not the lobby, nor room or bathroom… Nothing. Not a thing! The «breakfast» if you could call it that was two containers of who knows how old cereal, a mini fridge with apple juice. And a bowl of bread that looks like it’s been sitting there for weeks. It was so bad we stood in the room for 10 minutes debating leaving and finally went to the front desk and told them of the issues, they offered to upgrade us but we were already in the largest room and if it was that bad I didn’t want to see the «upgrade» We ended up leaving and going the rest of the way to our destination. And now are refusing to reimburse even tho we were told by the front desk person to call our third party company back and they would handle the cancelation and when it came down to it the third party company ended up having to just call the hotel to get the refund and the same guy we spoke to refused to the third party. Again we were there no more than 15mins. Never took the luggage out of our car and never even sat on a bed yet still have to pay full price. This was by far the worse hotel I’ve ever seen and I’ve gone cross country and stay in some pretty bad areas. I don’t have the highest of standards but I found out tonight I have my limits! STAY AWAY!!!

This hotel was unacceptable. I booked a room with 2 bedrooms. For 4 people. I arrived late at night very anxious to get rest. Immediately when I walked in to the room it was not what I expected. However I decided to give it a try as long as it was clean and comfortable.n. I opened the fridge to place our waters and sandwiches and there was a huge stain in the fridge with a spill of something that looked like chocolate milk. It was very unpleasant but I still used it. That was the beginning of our stay. Then one of the beds was lopsided. When you laid on the bed the whole right side of the bed touched the floor. What really set me off was when I saw my young baby girl lay on the bed with a huge yellow stain of about 4 inches big it was so disgusting. Not only that but the blow dryer did not work and we had to sleep with our hair wet. Overall it was a bad bad experience. What was suppose to be relaxing because stressing and frustrating. Do not stay here. Oh and their breakfast was not even a bit descent which really really just made it a done deal for me they had packaged oat meal, some cereal, and rubbery toast. Wifi does not connect do not even try it. I tried connecting to it all night and complete some work but was unsuccessful. Take my advice and do not stay here. Oh and the worst part we came back with itchy feet which is very disgusting. I paid 100.00 for crap. I would give it a negative star if I could. In all honesty I would not want anybody to go through what we did.

Took my son to Legoland for his birthday. Came across this motel. It is marketed as an inn and suite. Far from that. Close to Legoland that was good. But that was the only good thing about it. The motel was dirty. How hard is it to clean a bathroom light switch? The bed sheets had holes in them. The curtains had burn holes in them. The walls had dirt on them. The couch looked like they found it in the alley and it had a horrible odor. The room was dark. The freeway was right at my front door. Lots of traffic noise. The day we checked out the front desk personnel came and knocked on the door and said we had to get out by 11am or they would charge 5 dollars an hour. Then he stood there waiting for an answer I guess. He would not leave. This was the worst hotel. Do not stay there. It was horrible.

HORRIBLE!!! We went there for a family trip to LEGOLAND and because it is close to the LEGOLAND that is the only thing nice I can say about this hotel! It start from the beginning of this overpriced motel! I told them that I want to hold it on my credit card and pay cash… as soon as I got there they wanted me to pay the cash … I never was asked to pay before we even checked in… the rooms were dirty with holes in the sheets, holes in the curtains, spider webs up and down the stairs, dust everywhere… and we picked this because it said it can accommodate 6 people… well we were a very close family that weekend! The free breakfast they offered was nothing but cold cereal and Tampico juice, fruit, Danish and or instant oatmeal .for two nights paying close to 300 dollars I expected more! The rooms smelled of musk and dirt .the sofa was old and carried a odor… right next to the freeway so the freeway traffic can be heard all night… people smoking outside their rooms so the cigarettes smoke can be smelled all night. And don’t leave any curtains open or people can walk by and just look inside your room. AND to top it off when it was check out day someone actually came to my room to one tell me that I had to get out by 11 or they was going to charge me 5 bucks an hour for staying over and then he actually stood at the door talking about me paying my bill … After explaining to him that I will be out by 11 and will check out and pay my bill I couldn’t help but close the door and hurry up and finished packing! NOT worth the headaches no matter how much cheaper this place was to other hotels .STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Pretty gross. Pictures online totally do not depict the true appearance of rooms. Stayed in a suite… 1 large bedroom with adjoining room with only a bed in it. Door had a hold like someone tried to kick it open. Comforters were yellow, stained, and had cigarette holes. Only reason for 2^nd star is that front desk was very polite and seemed to make an effort with good customer service.

I wish I could give zero stars. I checked in and the staff made me feel like I was bothering them. I went to my room and the door to the room would not shut. I looked at the door frame and the door strike plate is barely hanging on. It looks like someone may have broken in a few times. I go to the front desk and they again were rude. They told me «you have to slam it». So he tried to show me, it took himself 3 hard slams to get it done. I wasn’t happy. So I asked for a new room. They said «we have no rooms.» So I asked to check out and my money back. Then he immediately says «oh, we have one room left». So he walks me to the new room which is right next to my old room. Again, door frame strike plate is damaged but not as bad as the last. Still had to slam the door but only once. The floor was covered in tile; its probably easier for them to mop up the dead hookers’ blood or any bodily fluids. The bathroom was disgusting too. I barely slept too because you can hear so much traffic outside. I would never stay here again even if I got a free stay. Don’t stay here.

They are theifs! DO NOT GO THERE. They made me leave a 50 dollar deposit and they wouldnt give it back. Make sure u have 7 towels when checking in… if not they will say u stole them and not give ur deposit back!

Overpriced 2-​star motel near the beach.
I really do think that’s a accurate description of this Inn which is really a motel. We paid $ 200 for a room that should have cost no more than $ 110. But it’s Oceanside and only a 10 min walk to the Harbor and 20 min walk to the beach and Oceanside Pier.
Pros:
The room itself was fairly clean. They are pet friendly. Free Wi-​Fi.
The cons:
The room was dingy. The bed was hard. The walls are extremely thin, you can hear everything outside and in the rooms next to and above you. The sheets smelled like piss. The lights are on a timer at night so every 5 minutes as I laid in bed reading, the lights went out. No carpet so you’re walking around on a dusty wood floor.

It was a last minute trip and this was the cheapest room we could find. It was old, noisy, the toilet rocked and there was no security lock on the door. A plus would be the free parking, pretty clean, near the harbor, and tile floor instead of nasty old carpet. The front desk staff was very nice. After check out they found something we had left in the room and called us.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone, not even for those in budget. It’s not worth getting bug bites and and a staph infection over. I woke up the next day with multiple bug bites and just a general nervous itch all over because the place was incredibly sketchy. At the end of the day I will ever stay here. And neither should you…

We only stayed for one night but it was very well kept up and everything was new. I would recommend this stay to anyone specially with iylts affordable price and friendly staff.

Nice place to stay close to the beach. I stay here whenever I’m in town. The owners always meet my needs on check in and check out. Great price. Clean rooms.

We checked in at 3am just to get a few hours of sleep and got a good deal with no problem. The man working the front desk/​lobby was very friendly! We came down for breakfast at 8am and there wasn’t much. I would rate the breakfast below average.
I have very bad sometimes life threatening allergies. I was fine here. Our room was great! No issues.

Extremely poor customer service and false advertisement, I was on trip advisor trying to book a hotel room for the weekend and came across a special rate of 55 dollars a night valid any day of the week. I thought to myself that’s perfect and really close to where I was planning to be.
I called up to make a reservation only to be immediately shut down. I told the lady on the phone there is nothing on the coupon stating that there are what she put as «black out dates» I requested to speak with a manager as she was not one and was informed there was not one there. (Really at 1 in the afternoon this hotel is ran with no management –stars just for that sole fact).
The end result was she would not work with me in anyway shape or form, just refused to even listen to anything I had to say. Being in a business myself, if you fail to advertise correctly and don’t fix your mistake that’s on you. You still honor the pricing or whatever it may have been that you had an error with.
I don’t condone any kind of business who don’t take responsibility on their part and would keep this false advertisement floating around the internet. I can bet that I was not the first or last one to call this hotel to request the special rates that they have posted online.
I’ve stayed at many other hotels in this area that are hassle free and true to their word with advertisement they do online I suggest everyone do the same. While I was reading other reviews on here it seems I’m

Awful place. Room smelled like a dirty gym. There was dust everywhere, causing my girlfriend’s asthma to flare up. Do not stay here.

We stayed here for 2 nights while our place was being fumigated. We have 2 dogs and a cat. The hotel was set up well for pets with the tile flooring. It’s a hotel for a decent price. Just a note though, there isn’t many places around the hotel where you can walk dogs without running into broken glass. But that’s just Oceanside… It was nice having a refrigerator and microwave in the room also. The reason I didn’t give a five star is because the closet was really dark with no light and the little turn table in the microwave was broken and the bedspread had bleach stains or something on it, just wasn’t very attractive. Almost like they put too much money into the dark finish furniture but not into decent microwaves, lighting or clean looking linings.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean, simple rooms. Lovely patio. Close proximity to Pendleton and downtown Oceanside. Very fair prices. The traffic noise was audible, but I sleep with earplugs so I didn’t mind.

Not a bad place at all. Good price on Travelocity. The rooms not facing the 5 are quiet, never heard any road noise. The showers are nice tile work, very modern. Nice flat screen TV, we had a room with tile floor rather than carpet, which wad a good choice for us. It is a 5 min walk to the harbor shops and beach. The only draw back is no coffee or continental breakfast until 8 am, I like to get up early and get moving. There is a chevron station around the corner though. The washer and dryer was also nice to have on site. Not to close to any restaurants, unless you like spending a mint at the harbor, but a 10 min drive puts you at some good food. All in all, great staff, good place!

It’s like $ 50/​night to stay here and you’re WALKING distance to the pier and beach.
You’re going to want to save some money to spend more on the food in this area! I live about an hour away from Oceanside but choose to stay the night here with my boyfriend because of the heavy food comas we get from the pier! There’s a little coffee stand in the direction of the beach with the yummiest hot cocoa and desserts!
I agree with the 4 – 5 star ratings, you get what you pay for. The owner is accommodating, rooms are so cozy and very clean, it’s pretty quiet at night.
One shouldn’t depend on this place for entertainment value, it’s not a resort. T
his is a place you stay at when you have tons of activities on the beach/​around the area and you merely need a nice/​quiet place to sleep.
I definitely recommend you speak to the owner about room prices before purchasing a room via TripAdvisor. In my experience, he gives a much better rate and has upgraded my room when occupancy is low.
If you’re having problems with the quality of your room, speak to the owner about possibly switching to another, he cares about his business and would prefer you let him know rather than having to «tolerate» your experience.
