I am a freelance Personal Assistant to San Diego North Coastal seniors and entrepreneurs. I specialize in daily money management, financial software data entry (QuickBooks and Quicken), home and office organization, helping with business development, special projects, web content, newsletters, blogs and social media.
I’m an experienced, capable, creative and health conscious companion to the elderly in their own home or in a senior community.
When the time comes when it is no longer possible or practical for a senior to live in their own home, I also assist families in touring and evaluating senior communities. This is called senior housing «placement». Unlike most placement companies who are paid on commission by the community, I charge the client a reasonable hourly rate for my expertise and my services. That way, my fiduciary loyalty is to the client, not the senior community.
I also have experience helping families downsize household contents, have garage or estate sales, and help prepare and stage homes for sale.
My service areas are primarily Oceanside, Carlsbad and Vista.

History
Established in 2007.
After working as an administrative professional for almost 40 years, i stopped working in 2001 to become a full time family caregiver to my elderly father for six years. In those years, I learned a lot about senior services, and how difficult it is for families to manage the needs of the elderly. I attended many workshops on aging and did a lot of personal research on home care agencies, senior housing, and other related senior services providers. The low quality of service offered in many cases was a real eye-opener. I was a volunteer Long Term Care Ombudsman with the County of San Diego. I have worked in some aspect of senior services since 2007.
From my admin work, I also have great tech skills and I offer office support to small business owners. I have a lot of experience with business writing.
