Let’s Get Nails Spa & Lounge

I went here several time but quit going as the place is filthy. I’m surprised the state has not shut them down. Manicurist was really nice but place is gross.

Oops. Owner quoted a higher price as I was preparing to LEAVE. Excuse me? How is it good business practice to up — quote your usual charge ‘ON THE WAY OUT?’
Isn’t enough that we pay more for callous remover these days when it used to be included? I reminded her ‘what she usually charges me’ and she said something about me not having a coupon. I also had to remind her that she said, «you don’t HAVE to bring in a coupon».
All this she did while doing another pedi in the seat NEXT TO ME– super tacky. I’m so disappointed because I really like this gal… but, I’m OUT.
There are too many nail salons. It seems that sooner or later many pull something like this. And if I’ve tried to speak with you, there is no excuse for changing what YOU’VE SAID and in FRONT OF any other customer.

I came in for a Full set and Pedicure. I sat down to get the pedicure first i asked them multiple times to make water more warm because they put it on cold. No change in water temp as the pedicure went on. The lady was very forceful on pushing my feet in water and then was very firm in her tone feet in water she said and she did that multiple times. She got up from her chair multiple times to do other things around the salon rather than finishing my pedicure. No attention done to my feet at all and that was very disappointing. The full set was being applied at the same time and one had turned out good and the other is sideways for the tips because of how the lady was sitting and my arm was across my body so it was not applied straight. I asked for bows on all the nails and i think they only know how to do flowers because they don’t look like bows at all. I left there paying $ 55… when i recalculated it when i left and i saw their sign out in front of the entrance it says $ 17.99 so i called them the next day asking about prices and the owner is not secure on her prices of anything. I asked how much for a full set and she said i think 20 and i said your sign says 17.99 and she said oh. Then i asked is that for clear full set nails or white tips (i got white tips) ohh i dont think thats for white tips she didnt even know her own pricing. Do not go here they are very rude and you will get over charged. Wish i checked Unilocal before going.

This place is super unsanitary and they rush your nails! They had me sit in a chair where a woman before me previously was and used the same nail kit on her, on me! They didn’t even change out the towels where her nails were trimmed at… I left with a hacked paint job that looked like a 10 year old painted my nails. I even asked to clean them up because paint was on my skin but they didn’t… I didn’t want to deal with asking them to re-​do my nails so I left and went to a different salon near my house to have my nails repainted…
Though the ladies are nice this was the worst service/​experience I have ever had at a nail salon and will not return. :-/

Careless, sloppy and lazy service!
I came in with my sister. The woman who I take to be the salon owner seemed happy to help my sister when she said she wanted her acrylic removed and replaced with gel, but when I said I wanted to have my gel removed, her expression changed as if she wasn’t happy I didn’t want anything additional.
The technician I got asked me one question (what color polish I wanted) and didn’t say another word to me. Didn’t ask if I wanted my nails trimmed, how my day was, nothing. And she only cleaned under ⁷⁄₁₀ fingernails… Then she didn’t care to bother to remove all the gel before putting the top coat on. There are specks of the blue gel all over my nails under the polish. I didn’t say anything to her or correct her because I’m not sure it’s my position to tell someone how to do their JOB but whatever. I will no be returning to this salon.

I can’t believe I just paid $ 52 for that! I came in with a very specific (and not very complicated) design and was told they could do it no problem. 2 hours later, I have no design, toes that didn’t even get a base or top coat, and vomit-​colored green gel nails. I didn’t even get to look at the choices, she said she was matching my hands to my toes… they aren’t even close. The leftover from the old set (which were red) is CLEARLY visible. They didn’t even try to get it all the way off. My nails look awful and I am now going to have to pay someone another $ 50 to fix it. Two different women tried 3 times to get the design on there and couldnt come close. This was is now a $ 100 MISTAKE. The only good thing I can say is that the ladies were friendly… but friendly won’t fix my nails or get me back my money and time!

Walked in and sat right down. She scraped all of the dead skin off of my feet. They feel much better now and the price wasn’t to bad.

If I could score this nail salon a 0 I would. I called in asking if I could come in to get a new gel polish put on. The lady on the phone said yes I could come in right then. I said that was perfect and I made my way over. I live less than a mile away so it only took me a few minutes to get there. When I arrived a woman told me to sit at a station and she would be right with me. Instead of being «right with me,» she started to do a pedicure on a woman who had come in after me. I waited for 30 minutes before she helped me. Once she helped me she took a very long time to do my nails. She decided to look for her cell phone in the middle of filling my nails. I had nothing on my nails but a clear pink coat of nail polish. Nail polish; not gel. She proceeded to take off my NAIL POLISH with the drill! I asked her to stop and use nail polish remover. She then did a very bad job of painting my nails with the new gel polish I wanted. She got polish around my cuticles. I asked her to fix it. She then started with the drill again to «fix it» and dug into my cuticle and I told her just to stop. I was so upset about the entire experience. I will never go back to this salon and make sure to tell people not to go there!

Had a good experience here, price is right, nails look great. The nail tech spoke to me the majority of the time and was really nice.
The only request is that the place work harder at keeping it’s appearance up. Dusty and a bit cluttered.

First time here and I was very happy with the services that I received from Lily. Got the princess pedicure that is available when you check in through Unilocal for $ 32. Lily gave me a great massage & was very friendly. She also cut my nails just like I asked her too. Her services where great, the only reason why I did not give this place a 5 star is because the other women working there where very pushy, you know trying to sell me extra services when they where not the ones doing my pedicure. Other than that I am happy with the services I received.

They are in a busy shopping center with not a lot of parking. However, I parked in front of the salon but wanted to run next door first and eat lunch. A lady came out and told me to move 2 spots down, to get out of the way for customers :/​if someone wanted a fill, parking two spots over isn’t going to stop them. I was going to stop in for a mani but after that and her attitude I decided I better stick to my usual salon where I felt welcomed.

I called because I needed a place to go for a pedicure on a Sunday afternoon and the owner was so nice and told me to come right in. She was very pleasant when I showed up even remembered that I had called. The pedicure was good, and the service was great. I felt that I had gotten what I had paid for. It was a relaxing atmosphere and very clean. I left happy and I will definitely be back.

So I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake! I saw a sign that said $ 20 gel mani. and read the owner description that she owned a salon in Beverly Hills, well now I know why they are in Oceanside. Horrible experience! I have seen my friends get gel mani and they look perfectly beautiful, well not here! I had to repeatedly tell the lady to please fix the sides of my nails because they were not painted, she didn’t push my cuticles during the manicure, overall just a horrible job. At the end she tells it was $ 25 and I told her, no your sign says $ 20. Well I payed her bc I was not about to argue and I seriously wanted to grab her sign and throw it in her face, but I controlled myself!

Leslie has been doing my nails for more than 2 years now. She is beyond fantastic! I actually followed her to this salon when she moved. I’ve never had any services performed by the other ladies but they seem polite and have been kind when I’ve had to bring my little ones in with me.

Just had a pedicure and my husband had a manipedi. The shop was so clean! Ladies were very nice too! Tina was amazing!!!
Get my pedicures done here from now on.

Just went in here for a pedicure with my sister– she got Shellac. Not even 3 minutes into the pedicure the lady cut my toe so short that it started bleeding. Then she immediately put some chemical on it that made it burn so bad. I asked her to stop the pedicure. She ignored me and started taking off the nail polish on the other foot. Then I asked to stop again and she held on to my foot. I finally had to ask for the 3^rd time to make her stop. I said I’ll just come back in a couple days after it grows back… so i didn’t make her feel bad. Then the owner asked me if I was still going to pay!!! Really there was still nail polish on my feet. What am I paying for I asked. the owner said she cut my nails I said she cut 1 and it was so short it hurts… The owner asked me 3 more times if I am going to pay just a little… I said I could but don’t feel I should… she walked away and I walked out… Then in the car I looked at my sister’s shellac nails they were not painted to the cuticle and they were not shiny. The lady did them in 20 minutes… I will not be going back here… I will drive the extra mile from house and pay the extra $ 2 to go my regular place.

I created a Unilocal account just because of this salon. These are the worst set of nails I have ever received in the 8 years I have been getting acrylic nails. Within the first week 3 nails broke and I had to re glue 3 of them back to my original nail because they were lifting. When I went back exactly 1 week after getting them done and asked them to fix my 3 broken nails the owner asked where I had gotten then done, I said here… She proceeded to tell me I was lying to her. Then asked me if I wanted a fill… I reminded her it had only been a week since I originally got them done and I look like I need a full because her nail technician did not get the acrylic close enough to my cuticle… While I was there getting my nails fixed 2 other women came in complaining about their nails that had broke. Please don’t waist your time going here if they are not calling you a liar they are pushing for you to get a pedicure every 5 days! A fill and a pedicure should not cost $ 70 especially for horrible quality.

Great little nail shop! I get gels and they have stayed on the longest out of any place I have ever gone! 3 weeks! Also, the pedicures are great! Great prices and really good treatments. Highly recommend!
