I was pretty disappointed this time around. I’ve come before and had at least a 3 star experience. And even at that, it was never great but good enough for a return visit. This time around, however… Not so much. My party ordered steak stroganoff, alfredo montamore, the chicken breast kids meal with broccoli and apple sauce, and the cheesy bread appetizer. None of the food was prepared like the pictures. The stroganoff was super skimpy on the steak, the alfredo montamore had no tomatoes and was very poorly combined. The kids meal was bad too, the chicken was too oily and not breaded(the picture looked breaded) and the broccoli was cold. The cheesy bread was awful. It didn’t look anything like the picture. The picture looked like sourdough or focaccia diagonally cut… And I got a regular store bought French baguette cut in rounds and it tasted terrible. We didn’t even finish it. There was nothing gourmet about this food. Oh, and the bathrooms don’t have toilet seat covers. At all. I asked a worker about this and was told that the city of San Diego does not require businesses to provide seat covers, so, they don’t. She said because it’s an added expense, the business chooses not to purchase them. Now, the skimpy poorly prepared food makes sense! They’re cheap. I won’t be returning. And I’ll be calling in a complaint to the corporate office. I want my $ 48 back. I can’t believe this was the price point for this sub par dining experience.

Unfortunately after today’s experience, I have to knock a star off my rating for this location. It’s too bad because I have always been a huge fan but my most recent experiences have left a sour taste in my mouth, mostly due to the staff. As I mentioned in my previous review, we often order lunch for our office and Noodles & Co is a popular option because who doesn’t like carbs?! The last time they screwed up on an order, I called to let them know so that it didn’t affect someone else’s order and the girl on the end of the line was incredibly unwilling to help but I just let it go and figured it was a fluke. Today we ordered from Noodles & Co again. Three pasta bowls and a salad. No modifications on the pastas, but the salad was requested to sub one vegetable for another, and add grilled chicken as it did not come with any protein. The coworker we sent to pickup did not realize until he returned that they charged for but did not include the grilled chicken(about $ 3), and they charged to sub one veggie for another(shouldn’t have cost anything). My coworker who ordered the salad called to let them know, and the girl who took her call said, «Sorry, but I don’t know what you want me to do. You could come back and get the chicken» to which my coworker said, «Forget about it, it’s too far to drive back.» «Okay, sorry, bye.» I’m not sure what the deal is with the management at this location hiring teenagers with attitude but it is really throwing a wrench in the potential business they could be getting from our office full of hungry people come lunch time. Hopefully they improve their screening process and teach a little more customer service, at which point we may consider returning.

On this episode of Jeopardy… Answer: I haven’t encountered food poisoning since 2008. Question: What is, something I can no longer say? What I had: Tuscan Fresca, no onions, add mushrooms, with meatballs. Approximate time of ingestion: 5:30pm What I experienced: up and out at 3am. Trust me, it’s not just an intolerance. I can suffer through that. But a toilet and trash can simultaneously is not a skill I want on my resume I doubt the issue was from my food, but rather from the preparation techniques ending in food contamination. Although the likeliness of this occurring is rare, it’s also a sign that should not be ignored. If you have an allergy concern or dietary need, I would be wary of this place. If they have contamination on regular meals, you aren’t safe eating here. Sorry for the grotesque review; but, I feel strongly about honesty and transparency. Please note: This review is not all inclusive as I feel giving feedback on staff and lounge area to be of low importance given the rest of my experience.

The food is ok. I just keep trying this place because it is close to my work. Each time I try a different dish hoping to find one that I would like. So far it is a no go. I know this is a chain, but I am not sure if it is this location or all location. I just cannot find a dish I like.

If you want to regret eating your meal wasting your time and money. Just come here Noodles and Co knows best!!! First, when you walk in no ones takes your order you have to wait wait wait till someone decides to look behind the register. Second, you can order anything you want but they’ll just give you what they want. This is my third and last time I come here. Every time I order a dish I ask to add chicken! I pay the extra bucks but I get nothing but a huge nasty ball of over cooked noodles and seems like they always substitute all veggies for lil tiny pieces of nasty crap onions!!! F this place! No stars, they should close down.

I went the other night to get dinner with my Mom & sister & I just fell in love with this place. The time we walked in the door we were greeted by a happy employee. We ordered & asked for specific sauce and special things & it was never a problem of a hassle. I believe our cashier was Elody. She was very nice & kind. Answered all of my newbie questions & even recommended her favorite dish since I was new to the place. We got a to go order & went home to eat. It was delicious. I will be coming back to try more dishes from noodles & co very soon! Ps. The customer service was great. Also don’t forget to get a freshly made rice crispy treat. They are extremely yummy!

Overall this spot is pretty darn good. Its a franchise so the food stays consistently good, but it also depends on who’s cooking. The Pad Thai is great! Love it. Kids seem to love the buttery noodles. The salads are rather big and tasty. The service is good and fast here. So over all its really good. Not awesome… But really good

I love the San Marcos location, so I was really excited when the Oceanside location opened up close to my house. Unfortunately, I still make the drive to San Marcos and only go to the Oceanside location if I’m in a time crunch. The food is hit or miss, the quality is inconsistent, there’s often a bad smell when you walk in the door, and just recently I used the ladies room and no seat covers are provided. It wasn’t that they were empty, they are simply not provided. That is a no-no for me especially in a brand new building. Go to San Marcos instead.

My first time at noodles n company; I loved the variety but decided to keep it light getting a salad. My salad consisted of things I could’ve used at home to make it. I wasn’t satisfied with the price it was for something so simple. The staff on the other hand was extremely helpful and polite; all of them clearly stayed busy doing side work when there were no customers waiting In line. They had friendly personalities and I plan to go back and try something else because of this.

When I came here I ordered a tofu Indonesian peanut sauté(I am vegan) and found pieces of chicken in my food. I am very disappointed with my meal and recommend NOTTOCOMEHERE as a vegetarian or vegan since you might find pieces of meat here. I am very angry and will not be coming back.

I live in Oceanside and always had to drive to San Marcos for noodles and co but when I saw there was one by my house I nearly did a backflip. But this last time I wanted to drive all the way back to this location just to get more chicken on my buttered noodles. I paid an extra $ 3 for Parmesan crusted chicken and got tiny shredded pieces instead of a full breast of chicken. Not cool. I paid for it so I expect to get a full breast. I’ll be doing what I originally was doing — going to the SM location. See ya!

I ordered the med salad with chicken. Its a nice light lunch with only 430 calories. Bed of greens with onion, tomato, olives and feta. The dressing is a creamy slightly spicy vinaigrette. Instead of croutons they throw some spiral noodles in there. I mean, it is noodles and company. Its a nice variation of the traditional Greek salad. I throw a little of the«smolder from boulder» spice blend on top. You can find it by the drink station by the salt and pepper. And a nice zing to the salad. My date ordered the Thai hot pot. Its a bowl of veggies and different meats in a clear broth. It must have the same spice profile as the tom kah soup because it tasted very similar, just didn’t have the creamy coconut milk. Came with bread on the side to complete the meal. If you get a drink its about $ 12/person. Getting pretty close to sit down restaurant prices but still much quicker. They have an electric car charger station right out front for those you hybrid lifers.

Myra is totally amazing! Not many faster food places have people who are personable, funny and full of great recommendations! She has blown that stereotype out of the water! She runs this place the way it needs to be run! So coming back because of her! Definitely try the tomato basil bisque and«Buff bowl»

I have had being to Noodles and Company at different locations before, the Indonesian Peanut Sauté is something that you normally don’t see in standard American fare. I was nearby and hungry so I gave this location a try, the noodles with chicken came out to almost $ 10. The noodles came out soon enough, the flavors were ok but the amount of chicken in my order was like 2 chicken nuggets worth. That was kind of crappy, on top of the smallish portion sizes and that I left still hungry did not make me feel like I ate $ 10 worth of food. There was just something off with the entrée, there was a crunchy bit like egg shell but these noodles shouldn’t have eggs in it., hmmm.
