Dr. Choo at Oceanside Acupuncture is one of the best practitioners I have had and I have tried quite a few in the area! He has helped reduce and relieve the severity of a multitude of symptoms and brought back harmony to both my mind and body through his work. He is detailed and articulate when explaining treatment plans, and has shared in depth many important Oriental medicine concepts and theories with me, enhancing my understand of the root causes to my health.
I would highly recommend Dr. Choo, he is authentic, personable, skilled, professional and efficient. I always feel like I’m in good hands and good healing energy here.

My experience at Oceanside Acupuncture was poor. I’ve also visit Harmony Acupuncture in Escondido and the difference between the two was stark.
My experience at Harmony that the acupuncturists were capable, interested in my health, and skilled. In contrast, at Oceanside Acupuncture I found the attitude of the guy dismissive, condescending, even cynical. I did not feel he was providing a good service.
I did not like the facility at Oceanside either. It was cold, uninviting, and uncomfortable. Harmony Acupuncture has an excellent facility.
I do not recommend Oceanside. I do recommend Harmony.

I second what Tom R stated. I tried to do a walk in and ask if we could speak to the doctor. Doctor refused to come out. To the think the only reason we went there was based on a referral. As Tom said, go look for a more customer friendly business.

I went to Dr Choo originally because he took my insurance and was on the list. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of Chinese medicine and his gentle and caring manner. The office is great and his appointment times are very flexible. He is patient and painless and I recommend him with 5 stars!
