staff the nurses are rude, and semi retarded. the docotrs never know what medications your taking, despite them checking every time you go in and the fact they are the ones prescribing. they botched my epidural injection, and caused me severe increase in pain. often times the doctor doesn’t even know why you are there, ie refill, follow up, etc. unless you seriously have no other options I would steer very clear of these «doctors»

I have never met a more dedicated, concerned and friendly doctor as Dr. Wales, of Pacific Pain Management in Oceanside, CA. I have been diagnosed with extreme Osteo Arthritis of my right shoulder and arm. I visited Dr. Wales as a last resort, because the pain was so extreme and disabling. Dr. Waleswas able to relieve the pain through the use of sonic guided placement of a pain relieving injection in the precise area if my shoulder where the damage was greatest.
I had inquired about replacement of portions of the shoulder through surgery, but had been disuaded by several Orthodpedists who said I would have to learn to live with my pain. Bridget, Dr. Wales assisstant, is very knowledgeable and well-​trained. She helped me exhibiting the comforting kindness and friedliness of Dr. Wales and his entire staff. I am so thankful that I found Pacific Pain Management and Dr. Wales. They have helped to makke my life worth living again.

I’ve been going to Pacific Pain Medicine in Oceanside for over a year now and can’t say enough good things about the doctors and their staff. Dr. Perrizo is my doctor and he is so very kind, empathetic, and understanding, not to mention a total professional who knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend Pacific Pain Medicine to anyone that deals with chronic pain of any kind and who genuinely wants to get better.

No one believed my diagnosis and refuse to help. The staff were idiots and never returned a phone call. If I wasn’t there 20 minutes before my apt I was fined, yet it was ok for them to make me wait 45 minutes after my appt time to be seen.

When you live with chronic pain most likely you have been to numerous doctors with varying degrees of satisfaction. When I moved to California my new primary suggested that I see a pain specialist. I was reluctant at first having heard of some bad experiences from other people. I was referred to Pacific Pain and I was lucky enough to be given an appointment with PA Jeremy Adler. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable and it was clear he was dedicated to his profession. He listened to my history, took into consideration my input, thought both in and outside of the box, and used his broad based understanding of the body, how it works (and sometimes doesn’t), along with his in depth knowledge of prescription options (how they were designed to work, and the broader way they work in the body) and non-​prescription options, to come up with the right régime, and adjust it appropriately as needed. He stays on top of the latest information in the field, and his patients benefit from this. After more years than I care to mention of going from doctor to doctor with limited success, he was not only able to get my pain under control, but he was able to finally come up with the correct diagnosis for me, referring me to the proper specialist, resulting in even better quality of life. I have the utmost respect for Jeremy and highly recommend him and Pacific Pain.

Following 30 years’ service as a Marine and private contractor in the Middle East, I have been plagued by chronic back pain. Fortunately, former USN Dr. Nathan Perrizo D.O. has exercised mulitiple options, that have resulted in some of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in many years.
Noteworthy, the Staff at Pacific Pain Medicine have been just superb. From office visits to surgical procedures, when I needed to attend to other competing medical requirements or a personal emergency, they very kindly accomodated me at every turn.
I am truly grateful for the outstanding medical treatment, follow-​up care, and support I have consistently received from Dr. Perrizo and Team over the course of the past few months. They have my very highest recommendation.

The receptionists are beyond rude and gossiped /​talked bad about other patients as I was checking it. I could not believe my ears. While I was left waiting for forever, I continued to hear one of the receptionists and other helpers talk badly about patients or the work in general. I am seriously disgusted by the behavior I have witnessed.
The appointment did not leave me with positive impressions either. I have been to pain clinics before and I always left with a feeling that the doctor knows what to do. Not here.

Nice guy, but scheduling appointments, getting return phone calls from nurses, having the doctor be on time, canceling appointments are pretty bad on a regular basis. If your expectations are low, then their customer service and patients and results will probably meet your expectations
