North County Transit District (NCTD) invites you to ride the newest light rail train in San Diego — the SPRINTER! Service runs every 30 minutes seven days a week in the communities of Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos and Escondido. The SPRINTER serves MiraCosta College, Palomar College and Cal State San Marcos. BREEZE buses connect to all 15 SPRINTER stations.

History

Established in 2008.

The SPRINTER opened for service on March 9, 2008. It averages nearly 8,000 daily passengers on a weekday.
