Established in 1982.

Dr. Victor Tomassetti has served the chiropractic needs of North County since 1982. He is originally from Rochester, New York, where he attended St. John Fisher College and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Tomassetti has received extensive post graduate education in the clinical analysis and treatment of automobile, sports and work-​related injuries. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is certified as an Industrial Disability Examiner and a Qualified Medical Evaluator.

Although Dr. Tomassetti places special emphasis on traumatic injuries of the spine, he holds a strong interest in family practice, auto accident recovery, prenatal and postnatal back care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tomassetti’s since 2006. In my mid-40’s at that time, I was feeling the wear and tear of daily life coupled with regular weight lifting and light aerobic workouts. I had never been to a chiropractor but had several friends recommend. From the first adjustment I felt relief. Over the years I continue to go and have been treated for strains and tendonitis as well as regular adjustments. Adjustments and treatments such as massage therapy and laser are always custom to the area and severity of pain I may be feeling. They take the time to listen and treat accordingly. Dr. Tomassetti and his practice will continue to be a valued part of my wellness plan.

This guy is good! He fixed my neck in about 6 weeks back in 1994 after an auto accident. I was surprised at the results because I always thought chiropractic was fake.

Dr. Tomassetti and his staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. T does not ask me to come in more times than needed as I have experienced with other chiropractors. He has been in business around 30 years and you can still get in for an appointment usually the same day you call or the next day. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Tomasetti and his staff are great! I was referred to him by my Mom when I recently started suffering from upper back and neck pain and was starting to cause tension headaches. After one adjustment I felt a complete release and feel significantly better. I’ve seen him three times in the past three weeks and coupled with two massages my back is nearly back to normal. I would recommend him and his office to anyone. His staff is extremely accomodating and willing to squeeze you in to see him even on the busiest of days.

Dr. Tomassetti has just the right touch — I’m a smallish person, and need a gentle touch, but also need capable hands that know what they are doing, and he is the right combination.
Aside from being able to address my physical pain, and correct it, Dr. Tomassetti has to be the nicest person /​doctor I’ve come across in a very very long time.
I personaly don’t like doctors as I find 99% of them to be arrogant, uncaring and dismissive, but Dr. T, is the exact opposite. I wish more of my doctors were like him. He is the gold standard of docs.

Although I found Dr. Tomassetti and his staff nice, his chiropractic style was too forceful. He was far too rough with me and I left his office in pain. I have been going to Chiropractic for low back pain for years and tried Dr. Tomassetti after recently moving to the area. I will not be going back.

Thanksgiving 2008, I took a 12-​hour car ride from SoCal to NorCal to visit family. The long ride really did a number on my joints and I found myself in so much pain in my right hip that I couldn’t walk.
My doctor said that my hip pain was trochanteric bursitis. He suggested an injection of corticosteroids to relieve the inflammation and pain. Instead, I asked for a referral to a reputable chiropractor.
I’ve visited Dr. Tomassetti almost every month for more than a year and I feel great. But just as important I feel comfortable with my chiropractor. I really appreciate his great bedside manner and his genuine concern for my well being.
After my first visit, he called my house the next day to see how I was feeling. Not many medical practitioners do that anymore. He is a great communicator and really takes the time to learn how you are felling and what makes you the most comfortable.
I also like that he doesn’t just focus on people with pain, but encourages good posture and stretching for overall spine health. He gives patients the tools and empowement to make their bodies better. And now that I’m pregnant, Tomassetti has help relieve my back and hip pain.
Dr. Tomassetti’s office is a full-​service chiropractic and physical therapy practice: electronic muscle stimulation, massage, heat therapy as well as an exercise room for patients in physical therapy. He accepts several health insurances, including Scripps Coastal, but I suspect that he would financially work with anyone who needed treatment.
I highly recommend that people even thinking about visiting a chiropractor visit Dr. Tomassetti first. He’ll make your visit very comfortabe and rewarding.
