I have eaten at this spot many times. I have gotten express hibachi to go for lunch as well as dinner. I have also dined in multiple times. The food is absolutely delicious. I would rate the food itself a 5, no hesitation. About 3 months ago was the last time I stopped in for lunch. I got my food to go. I had ordered 2 meals and 1 was wrong. After waiting 10 minutes I was about to be on my way when I asked for another white sauce. That wasn’t going to happen –advised the girl that sits in the corner on her laptop to the cashier. I left, annoyed that my order was wrong and annoyed the white sauce is on lock down. I get that you may have to restrict it, ok. But maybe since I was already having a small issue, you would toss in 1 extra sauce? Needless to say this day left a bad taste in my mouth and I did not return. Until this evening. I called and placed a to go order for a shrimp teriyaki($ 7⁄8) and a side of the small order of veggies($ 1.99). I substituted noodles for rice also.($ 1) the man on the phone repeats my order and I confirm he has it correct saying again, a separate small veggie order. When I arrive I see a cashier, the infamous girl on her laptop &2 cooks. I am the only customer there and my order is already ready! :)(they are quick!) My order is somewhat wrong. I only see one container and ask where the veggies are. The veggies are not separated but mixed with the other meal. Ok– no problem, I can separate it. One of the cooks(who took my Order) advises me to tell them next time to separate it.(Really?) Since it’s really 2 meals I ask, can I have 2 extra white sauce for this because it’s for someone else as well.(I already had asked for 2 previously) the cashier states that he can only give me 1 more. While the girl on her laptop backs up the statement. All I can think is, is this really the level of customer service that they do every day? The man finally says, just give it to her. I get home and go to separate the food and I have no extra vegetables. I do have a huge mound of cabbage though. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment. I gave them another chance and not one thing had changed.

Pros: Hibachi was very quick. Serving size was good. A variety of inclusions. It would make a good lunch if I worked nearby. Cons: Sushi took much longer. Had Rainbow and Volcano rolls. Fish on the Rainbow was still partially frozen, could just have been a fluke. Volcano roll was mostly cream cheese, very heavy on cream cheese. Both rolls slathered with mayo sauces. If you’re looking for a quick lunch sushi roll, Publix does a better job. At $ 10 – 12 for these rolls, quality should have been higher. Stick to the hibachi and the more basic rolls and you’ll have a fine lunch.

My husband and I were craving sushi and saw all the good reviews for this place. I was less than impressed. The staff was not warm or welcoming; one played on her tablet the majority of the time we were there. The fried rice was way too soft, the sushi was unusually cold. The gyoza and shrimp tempura seemed like it went straight from freezer package to fryer. My craving has not been satisfied and I won’t be back. The express hibachi joint in metro west is worth the extra drive.

They give you a lot of food and it’s good! I got the chicken and shrimp teriyaki and my boyfriend had the beef and shrimp. Both were delicious! They have us so much food, let’s say I have enough left overs for a full dinner plate lol. And the sushis were yummy! For a fats food place I give it 2 thumbs up!!!

I’m never on this side of town for lunch but I came here because it was close to where I’m working at and it had good reviews. It’s your average hibachi express, reminds me a lot of the Japanese places in the mall. I got the chicken teriyaki and I found it to be a little too oily. If you’re in the area and want hibachi then give it a go, if you’re torn between here and somewhere else, go somewhere else.

The food was very good. I ordered chicken and shrimp. The flavoring was strong but did not overpower. Veggies were a lot of cabbage. I would have preferred more mushrooms and squash. Prices are a little high but you get a lot of food.

I’ve tried it a few times(there’s an express on the East side that’s really good) and it’s just ok. I love the white sauce but there’s is just ok. Chicken and shrimp teriyaki, veggies, noodles… just ok.

Kids and I were looking for a quick inexpensive bite after multiple days visiting and a nice thunderstorm made us just feel like… well teriyaki. Flavors were good. Cant have too high of expectations for an «Express» corporate place. Major nastiness, the rice was cooked with way too much water. Not a nice dry, light and fluffy rice as expected. Other than that, just a decent cheap place to eat. Gald we found it, but wont be back. Have too many other places to try while down here.

Man been looking for a place like this for a while! Love hibachi but hate how long it takes to get the food and sushi here it really means express. Been here a couple times now. Lunch or dinner it’s about ten minutes from order til we get our food. The selection is pretty standard, order your main entrée such as chicken or shrimp comes with standard white rice with option to upgrade to fried rice for. 50cents or noodles for $ 1(I always opt for the later) it’s amazing. The veggies is just mainly cabbage, zucchini, carrots which I’m not a fan of but I enjoy it with the bottle of white sauce they provide and sriracha! They also have bento boxes and basic sushi. Great thing about sushi is you can tell them the ingredients of your favorite roll and they will make it and charge accordingly. For instance my GF loves the Mexican roll it’s not on the current menu. All it has is shrimp tempura, cream cheese, cucumber, avacado topped with crunch and spicy Mayo on top. And it came out amazing and they just charge accordingly. Overall the value to the quality and taste of food is a steal in my eyes. I gave 4 stars but could be a 5. Will be coming back and my get the upgrade. Definitely one of my new favorite places! MiWaaaaaaaa!!!

Quite conveniently located near my place of employment. Found out about this place from someone walking door to door handing out savings cards to introduce their new business. The food was surprisingly pretty damn tasty for the looks of the place. It’s your basic take-out type motif. The menu is complete w/hibachi & sushi. They will make any sushi roll you wish(even if it’s not on the menu). I had the volcano & spicy salmon rolls. Pictures are provided. My friend had hibachi, and she was very impressed. Tons of white sauce The online menu is not completed, so don’t let that keep you from trying this place. I will definitely be back again to try the hibachi.
