Silver Lake Auto Center

I’ve been to Silver Lake Auto 2x both were extremely good experiences. The first time was to have some repair work done on a Jeep Liberty. The thing about repair places is that you never know what you are going to get. If it is someplace you have never tried or wasn’t recommended by someone you get that sort of sick feeling and you don’t know if you are going to be taken to the cleaners or not.
Over the years, you can get taken advantage of at a private repair place or a dealer, who to trust?
The repairs done on the Jeep were totally in line, Silver Lake called you the moment than ran into anything and gave you recommendations on what really needed to be repaired, what you could skip and what may need to be done in 6mos. or so.
2^nd time, just replaced a headlight on VW but one of the lamps just would not come out. Played around with it for ½ an hour at the auto parts store could not get the lamp out and didn’t want to break it trying. Took it down the block to Silver Lake they looked right away, I didn’t have an appointment, am not a frequent customer. They clearly had a line up of vehicles in the shop they were working on. But they took the time for my stupid issue. A tech came out tried for a couple minutes then took it in the shop and fixed it. Asked how much, no charge. Just glad to help. T
This is a place you return to when you need your car repaired. Honest place, awesome service.
