History

Established in 2012.

Creative Marketing Nerds was initially design to be a one stop shop marketing and advertising agency that would produce everything from TV commercials to websites and social media strategies. But after carefully analyzing trends and effectiveness of traditional, or «outbound» marketing, when compared to the emerging «inbound» marketing industry and taking into consideration the explosive growth in the smartphone and tablet markets over the past five years, it was decided that Creative Marketing Nerds would become a full fledged inbound marketing agency. The idea of TV, print, radio and direct mail campaigns no longer seems functional in our fast moving society where consumers are constantly connected to the virtual spaces within the world wide web through their mobile devices. Positioning products and services to be found within those virtual spaces where consumers practically live is the basis of inbound marketing and the core focus of our new business model.

Business Owner

Abel Nunez is the Creative Director and SEO Specialist at Creative Marketing Nerds, a website design, development and inbound marketing agency based out of Odessa, TX. After serving 11 years as an Air Force Medic, he attended Hawaii Pacific University where he studied Advertising and Marketing. A self taught «coder,» he freelanced as a graphic designer/​website developer throughout college; this provided multiple opportunities to use real world clients for school assignments consisting of branding and marketing campaign projects. The experience proved invaluable after college when he was hired as Director of Website Development for a marketing agency in Midland, TX before going off on his own to launch Creative Marketing Nerds.
