Abby’s Dog House

Abby is WONDERFUL! She welcomed our 2 little dogs in her home and gave them lap times. Our dogs came home happy (not stressed) and tired from playing with the other pups. We also got text updates!

This review is a long time in coming!
First let me say that Abby is wonderful! She treats everyone’s dogs like her own. She is a natural care giver and all the dogs are her favorite!
I met Abby through a friend and was in need of a dog sitter when I lived in Ogden over 5 years ago. My husband and I were planning one of our many trips and were dreading having to put our 4 (at the time) dogs, in a regular kennel. I hate the smell and I feel the dogs never get enough attention. I want my babies to get treated like I would treat them. I figured… No such thing existed. Then I was given Abby’s phone number. I called her. I felt an instant connection. She invited me and my group of dogs over to get aquatinted. My babies walked into her home as if they had been there before. I felt comfortable and so did they. The following week I dropped off the group and we were on our way. Abby gave us regular reports. (We were gone almost 2 weeks) she took great care of my family. Even Star, my finicky girl who never eats while I’m away, ate while I was gone!
I brought my dogs to Abby anytime I had to go out of town. She is priced fairly and my dogs always came home in the same condition I left them.

Abby is a life saver,
We first met Abby when I flew home to Atlanta for Christmas and needed someone to watch my two beagles, Rue and Scout.
Not only was she so sweet and comforting to me when I dropped them off but the environment was inviting as well, super clean and tons of space it made it easier to leave them there.
She kept me updated with pictures and updates the entire time and when I picked them up at 8pm ON Christmas night, in the snow, she was all smiles and my dogs were clean and relaxed.
I couldn’t ask for anyone better to be there for us when I am away. My dogs currently go to Abby at least once a month and they love it!
I highly recommend this sweet, professional lady.

Abby is amazing and I recommend if you ever need short or long term boarding you use her (it is worth the drive to Ogden). She took care of our two dogs Kuma and Astro (border coller/​retriever and a rott/​min-​pin mix) for over 5 months — and by take care of, I mean we had to board them with her for this time. I had a job assignment that led to a relocation from Utah to Massachusetts and finally ending up in Arizona. We had anticipated boarding the dogs with Abby 3 months which in itself was amazing that we found her, but when we found out it was closer to six, Abby said no problem!
What is amazing about Abby is that this is truly her passion and she cares about the dogs so much vs. a large boarding facility where you do not know who is going to be taking care of your dog. We had an incident where one of our dogs had to go to the vet, and Abby took care of it no problem. I of course was nervous being so far away, but she put me at ease with her care and responsiveness.
When it came time to get my dogs and bring them to Arizona, Abby even met me at the airport with the dogs! She is truly amazing!
I have used a few other boarding facilities, and no where comes close to Abby and her care.
While I am very excited to have my dogs back, I know that they were very happy with Abby too.
