History
Established in 1990.
Four Sisters Furniture started 26 years ago when Utah businessman Jay Bailey asked his stepdaughter Vicky to help him with custom framework for a showroom he owned in North Salt Lake. Years later, she and her sisters took over an unfinished wooden furniture store and combined it with custom framing services, thus, Four Sister Furniture and Custom Framing was born.
Four Sisters Furniture operated out of the same building for 24 years. In June 2014, the property was sold and we moved to a location a few miles north of our original location, where we operate to this day. At our facility we sell and finish furniture, offer furniture and cabinet finishing services and run deliveries.
We take pride in what we do and this has helped us stay in business for almost 26 years. Our products are made from the best quality solid wood and are built to last for generations. Learn more at foursistersfurniture.com
Meet the Business Owner
Vicki P.
Business Owner
Mrs. PoVey has lived in Utah all of her life. After graduating High School, Vicki worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. and First Security Bank. Later, she married and started a family, which conflicted with her position at the bank and she left her job. She worked odd jobs to make ends meet and started hanging wallpaper for her stepfather and local businessman, Jay Bailey. That’s how Four Sisters Furniture started.
Jay Bailey was in the retail furniture business in Utah for many years. Calling on the aid of his stepdaughter, Vicki started with hanging wallpaper and learned about custom framing. The opportunity to run one of his locations arose and Vicki along with her sisters opened an unfinished furniture store and combined it with custom framing services.
Now Vicki and her husband Brent run the business. Selling unfinished furniture and finishing products, finishing furniture and refinishing furniture and cabinets and framing pictures and many other kinds of artwork for her loyal clien
